Candidates aspiring to appear for CAT 2023 Exam will have to register on the official website. The application process will continue for a period of one month from the date of the release of the Application form.
As per the CAT application guide, candidates can register themselves for CAT by following the simple steps mentioned below:
- Register on the official website to generate a unique User ID and Password.
- Log in with the generated User ID and Password to fill in the Application form.
- To complete the application procedure, submit the application form after providing the requested information and completing any necessary online payments.

Candidates who have successfully registered for the CAT 2023 can download the CAT 2023 Admit Card from the official website by using the simple steps given below:
- Visit the official CAT 2023 website @ iimcat.ac.in
- Click on 'Login'
- Enter the registration ID and password
- After successfully Login in the CAT Admit Card 2023 download portal, click on 'admit card' link.
- Click on download and save the admit card on the desktop.
- Take a printout of the CAT 2023 admit card

CAT Admit Card: Exam Day Guidelines
- Candidates are required to carry at least two copies of the CAT 2023 admit card along with a valid ID proof.
- Candidates can only carry CAT 2023 admit card & photo ID card will be allowed inside the exam hall
- For rough work candidates will be provided with a writing pad and pen which need to be returned after the test. Candidates will have to write their name and registration number on the writing pad.
- Candidates are required to reach the exam centre at the reporting time mentioned in their CAT 2023 admit cards
- Candidates are required to sign the CAT admit card 2023 only once inside the exam hall in the presence of the invigilator
- Candidates must paste the same photo as the uploaded in the CAT application form
- Mobile phone, calculator, IPad or any other electronic gadget is prohibited inside the examination centre
- Bags and valuables are not allowed inside the CAT exam centre 2023
- Candidates are advised to abstain from wearing Jewellery that contains metal, clothes with pockets, jackets as they are prohibited inside the exam hall
