UGC NET Answer Key 2024 - PDF Download, Objection Window & Challenge Fee

UGC NET Answer Key 2024 - The National Testing Agency has released the answer key for the UGC NET exam online. Candidates who took the exam from August 27 to September 5, 2024 can now check the answer key on the official website. To access it, they will need their UGC NET login ID and password, application number, and date of birth. Candidates will also have the opportunity to challenge the answer key, in case they are not satisfied with it. To do so, they must pay a fee of Rs 200 per question.

The last date to challenge the provisional UGC NET answer key was September 13, 2024. The objection window is now closed. The UGC NET exam was conducted from August 21 to September 5, 2024. 

Once the provisional answer key challenge window is closed, NTA released the result for UGC NET on the same official website. Along with the result, the final answer key is also released. Students must note that the final NTA UGC NET answer key is not subject to objections.

The provisional UGC NET answer key 2024 is released in online mode at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. To download the answer key candidates need to follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of UGC NET, ugcnet.nta.ac.in
• Open the UGC NET Answer Key 2024 link shown on the site.
• Choose the login link from the list by application number and password or date of birth.
• Enter the following details: application number, date of birth, or password.

UGC NET Answer Key 2024: How to challenge?

Candidates who are not satisfied with the answer key can visit the official website and click on the answer key challenge notification. If the objection raised is found to be valid, candidates will receive a refund for the objections raised on the UGC NET answer key 2024, credited to their bank account.

Therefore, UGC NET final answer key can be different from the initial answer key released. Moreover, candidates must note that no changes will be made in the final answer key. Based on the answers in the final key, NTA authorities will prepare the UGC NET result for each individual subject.

The UGC NET result is prepared on the basis of the final answer key. Candidates must note that the final answer key for UGC NET is not the final result. However, NTA will release the final answer key along with the result at the official website - ugcnet.nta.ac.in. National Testing Agency usually releases the result for UGC NET within a month of the conclusion of examination.
