IIM Jammu: Admissions, Ranking, Course Fee, and Seat Intake

IIM Jammu Latest Update:  The online registration for JIPMAT-2025 (Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test) for IPM (Integrated Programme in Management) at IIM Jammu is now open. The last date for registration is 10th March 2025, and the exam is scheduled for 26th April 2025. Candidates can register online through the provided link or at Budaniya Book Shop, Punjabi Bagh (contact: 8750680499). The documents required for registration include a recent color photograph, student’s signature on plain paper, Aadhaar card, 10th class mark sheets for personal and academic details, and category certificate (if applicable).

The admissions to courses offered by IIM Jammu will be conducted on the basis of CAT 2025 scores. The admissions will take place through the Common Admission Process (IIM-CAP) which will be conducted by the institute. The schedule for IIM-CAP will be announced soon. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Group Discussion (GD) and an interview round on the basis of their CAT percentiles. After the completion of Common Admission Process, the final merit list will be released by the institute.

For admission to IIM Jammu, the minimum overall CAT cut off is 90 percentile in case of male General Category candidates and 87 percentile in case of female General Category candidates. The sectional cut offs required by General Category candidates are as follows:

• 65 percentile in Quantitative Aptitude (QA)
• 65 percentile in Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) 
• 65 percentile in Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)

IIM Jammu Scholarships 2025

IIM Jammu offers a fellowship to its full-time Research Scholars incorporating all academic expenses such as tuition fees, computer fees, library fees, placement fees, and alumni fees. Furthermore, the fellowship covers living expenses.

In the initial two years of the PhD programme at IIM Jammu, research scholars are entitled to a monthly stipend of Rs. 35,000. Upon completion of the second year or successful clearance of the exam, whichever is later, the stipend increases to Rs. 40,000 per month. Additionally, eligible candidates at IIM Jammu will have access to various additional allowances, as specified below:

• Contingency Allowance: Rs 40,000 each year 
• Purchase of Laptop: One-time Allowance of Rs 50,000 one-time Allowance
• Attend International and National Conferences: Upon successful clearance of the comprehensive exam during the PhD programme at IIM Jammu, candidates are eligible to receive financial assistance of up to Rs 2,00,000.
