GMAT Registration 2023: How To Register For GMAT?
Before registering for the GMAT exam, candidates will have to choose between giving the exam through online or offline mode. Hence it is important to understand the GMAT pattern. Once that is decided, the candidate must go to the official website and click on the “Register for GMAT” option. After that, he/she will be told to make a mba.com account and will be asked to provide the needed information.
Once the candidate clicks on the “Register” option, he/she will have to complete their specific profile by filling up basic information like name, contact details, qualification, address, etc. After the candidate is done creating an account and providing the asked details, the last step would be the payment of the GMAT registration fee through credit card, debit card, or net banking. The GMAT application fee is $275.
GMAT Registration 2023: When Should You Register For GMAT?
Although candidates have the freedom to choose the exam date, they should still consider a few factors before registering for the exam and finalizing the date. It mostly takes 7 days for GMAC to release the official score report, and it can exceed up to 20 days. That is why It is essential to plan ahead to match the application deadline of different schools.
It is advisable to register for the test at least 2 to 3 months prior to your tentative exam date. This will make the process less chaotic and will give the candidate a proper window for preparation.
Additionally, the GMAT score report can be sent to a maximum of 5 universities. Checking the application deadline for the target universities is crucial. If you have aimed for a university that follows a rolling deadline, it is necessary to apply as soon as you can as the rolling deadline is closely associated with a first come first served basis.
