IIT Kanpur Placements 2023: Highest Package, Average CTC

IIT Kanpur Placement 2023 Latest Update:  The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has recorded a total of 989 full-time offers including pre-placement offers (PPOs) in the first phase of 2023-24 placement session. The  companies have extended offers to 913 students and about 22 students from IIT-Kanpur have been offered international jobs.

Renowned industry giants such as Microsoft, Fujitsu, Samsung, Reliance, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Deutsche Bank, Tata Projects, Navi, Uniorbit, ICICI Bank, EXL, NPCL, Intel, TSMC, and others have emerged as top recruiters during IIT Kanpur Placement 2023.

Last year, IIT Kanpur in Phase 1 of its placement drive, placed 1,128 job offers where 208 were pre-placement offers (PPOs). Around 250 companies including 35 startups participated in the hiring process and offered 1,200 jobs. That year saw 74 international offers as well.

The Phase 1 of the placement season 2022-23 at IIT Kanpur has concluded successfully. During this phase, a total of 1128 students from the graduating batch of 2022-23 accepted job offers, including 208 pre-placement offers (PPOs). Over 250 companies, including 35 startups, participated in the campus hiring process, resulting in 1200 job offers. Remarkably, there was a significant increase of 33% in PPOs compared to the previous year, with more than 60 companies extending 208 PPOs.

Notably, Phase 1 witnessed a notable surge in international offers, with 74 international offers, representing a remarkable 57% increase from the previous year. The highest domestic package was offered to B.Tech candidates at INR 1.9 Crores, and a total of 33 offers above INR 1 Crore were received from both national and international organizations. In comparison, the highest packages at the end of Phase 1 in the previous year's placement season 2021-22 were USD 287,550 for international offers and Rs. 1.2 Crores for domestic offers.

The IIT Kanpur MBA placement 2023 recorded the highest CTC at INR 24 LPA, an average CTC of INR 18.14 LPA, and a median CTC of INR 17.25 LPA. The MBA class of 2022-2024 also witnessed a successful Summer Placements season, with several prominent new recruiters.
