The Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (BIT Mesra), Ranchi is a premier technical deemed university. Established in 1955, BIT Mesra has secured the 48th position in engineering courses, 20th in the Architecture category, and 90th in the Management category by NIRF Ranking 2024. BIT Mesra admissions are based entirely on entrance exam scores. Candidates can apply for the entrance exam through BIT official website.

BIT Mesra B.Tech Admission 2025

BIT Mesra offers undergraduate programs in B.Tech., B.Pharm, B.Arch., and BHMCT. Students are selected based on their JEE Main and NEET scores, respectively. B.Arch. admissions are based on NATA scores, and BHMCT admissions are based on interviews conducted on campus. The tentative dates for the application for B.Tech (both Jaipur and Patna campus) will be scheduled after JEE Main 2025 or Immediately after the declaration of JEE Main 2025 Result. for the entrance exam for the same will be schedule As per the Schedule of JoSAA / CSAB 2025.

BIT Mesra B.Pharma Admission 2025

BIT Mesra selects students for the B.Pharm program based on their JEE Main or NEET-UG scores, with a 60:40 weightage given to the entrance exam scores and Class 12 marks, respectively. Candidates must also meet the age criteria and other minimum academic requirements.

BIT Mesra M.Tech Admission 2025

Candidate selection is based entirely on GATE 2021/2022/2023 scores and academic performance in graduation, with a weightage of 80% and 20%, respectively. Registration has commenced for the GATE exam 2025. 

BIT Mesra MBA Admission 2025

BIT Mesra offers an MBA program at its main campus in Mesra and its off-campus in Allahabad, Kolkata, Lalpur, and Noida. Admission to the BIT Mesra MBA program is based on scores in the CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT exams, followed by a group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) round.

Admission to the BIT Mesra masters program is based on JAM/CUCET scores, with a weightage of 80% given to the entrance exam scores and 20% given to academic performance. The online application process has already closed for IIT JAM 2025

Candidate selection is based on GATE/GPAT scores or percentile set by the institute, with academic performance also considered.
