The Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (BIT Mesra), Ranchi is a premier technical deemed university. Established in 1955, BIT Mesra has secured the 53rd position in engineering courses, 20th in the Architecture category, and 77th in the Management category by NIRF Ranking 2023. BIT Mesra offers B.Tech. as its flagship course. Admission to this course mandates a Higher Secondary Certificate degree (10+2) with 75% marks. BIT Mesra admission is based on the JEE Main exam through CSAB/JoSSA counselling. For a few B.Tech. in Biotech, seats are filled up with NEET (UG)/ICAR AIEEA (UG) scores. BIT Mesra Admission 2024

BIT Mesra admissions are based entirely on entrance exam scores. BIT Mesra has removed the entrance exam round for BHMCT admission.

BIT Mesra B.Tech Admission 2024

BIT Mesra offers undergraduate programs in B.Tech., B.Pharm, B.Arch., and BHMCT. Students are selected based on their JEE Main and NEET scores, respectively. B.Arch. admissions are based on NATA scores, and BHMCT admissions are based on interviews conducted on campus. The table lists the tentative dates for JEE Main 2024:

BIT Mesra B.Pharma Admission 2024

BIT Mesra selects students for the B.Pharm program based on their JEE Main or NEET-UG scores, with a 60:40 weightage given to the entrance exam scores and Class 12 marks, respectively. Candidates must also meet the age criteria and other minimum academic requirements.

BIT Mesra M.Tech Admission 2024

Candidate selection is based entirely on GATE 2020/2021/2022 scores and academic performance in graduation, with a weightage of 80% and 20%, respectively. Registration has commenced for the GATE exam 2024. 

BIT Mesra MBA Admission 2024

BIT Mesra offers an MBA program at its main campus in Mesra and its off-campus in Allahabad, Kolkata, Lalpur, and Noida. Admission to the BIT Mesra MBA program is based on scores in the CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT exams, followed by a group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) round.

BIT Mesra M.Sc. Admission 2024

Admission to the BIT Mesra masters program is based on JAM/CUCET scores, with a weightage of 80% given to the entrance exam scores and 20% given to academic performance. The online application process has already begun for IIT JAM 2023 on September 5, 2023.   

BIT Mesra Phd Admission 2024

Candidate selection is based on GATE/GPAT scores or percentile set by the institute, with academic performance also considered. Candidates must take the institute's entrance exam, and those who qualify will be invited for a personal interview. Selected candidates will be called for the next steps in the admissions process, including paying the admission fee.

BIT Mesra Cutoff 2024

The BIT Mesra 2023 cutoff for JEE Main Round 1 has been released for all categories. The most competitive course this year is BTech CSE, with a closing rank of 13887. BTech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is the second most competitive course, with a closing rank of 15168.
