CMAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2024 are a set of conditions that candidates must fulfil in order to appear for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the CMAT eligibility criteria on its official website, cmat.nta.nic.in. As per the latest eligibility criteria released by NTA for the CMAT 2024 exam, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. The exam is open to students from all streams, whether they are in the arts, sciences, or commerce.

Students must note that they must fulfil all the eligibility requirements prescribed by NTA for CMAT. Any candidate failing to meet the requirements will be barred from the exam selection process. Hence, candidates must thoroughly check the eligibility criteria before filling out the CMAT application form. The registration process for CMAT 2024 will tentatively start in February 2024.

Educational Qualification

Candidates who want to appear for the CMAT exam must have a graduation degree from a recognised university or institution.
At least 50% minimum marks are required in graduation to appear for the CMAT exam.
Candidates in the final year of their graduation can also apply for the CMAT exam.

Age Limit

As per the CMAT notification, there is no age limit to apply for the exam.
Candidates can have as many as number of attempts in the CMAT exam.

Nationality

Candidates applying for the CMAT exam must be Indian citizens.

What is CMAT Exam 2024?

The CMAT exam 2024 is conducted for candidates who wish to take admission to the Postgraduate Development Management (PGDM) program, MBA, Executive PGDM, and PGCM program.
More than 1000 management colleges accept CMAT score for admission to these programs. Students must note that eligibility criteria for admission to these programs for different colleges may vary.

CMAT participating colleges also follow the reservation policy for granting admission to management programs to students. Colleges and institutes under the control of the Central Government of India are subject to these reservations.
