CMAT Exam Pattern 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the exam pattern for CMAT on its official website. The CMAT exam aims to assess candidates' abilities in different segments, including Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The examination is designed for admission to Management Courses.
The CMAT exam is conducted in only English language only. The questions asked in the exam are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type. There are five sections in the CMAT exam each consisting of 20 questions. As per the CMAT marking scheme, each question carries 4 marks. There is also a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect response. Candidates will be awarded zero marks for not answering questions.

CMAT Marking Scheme 2025
Candidates appearing for CMAT 2025 exam can check the marking scheme for the same in the section below:
i) Each question is worth 04 (four) marks.
ii) Correct responses will be awarded 04 (four) marks.
iii) Incorrect responses will result in a deduction of 01 (one) mark from the total score.
iv) Unanswered or unattempted questions will receive no marks.
v) To answer a question, the candidate must choose one option as the correct option.
vi) If there are multiple correct options or changes in the answer key after the challenge process, only those candidates who answered correctly based on the revised key will receive marks.
vii) If a question is dropped due to a technical error, all candidates, regardless of whether they attempted it or not, will be awarded full marks.
