IIM Calcutta Courses & Fees

IIM Calcutta offers a collection of courses in the field of business and management. The institute offers its flagship MBA course, a full-time 2-year programme. IIM Calcutta also offers MBAEX (Executive Programme), PGPEX VLM (Post Graduate program for executives for visionary leadership in manufacturing), PGDBA (Postgraduate diploma in business administration), and doctoral programs. 

IIM Calcutta MBA Admission

The MBA Program is a two-year full-time postgraduate degree program consisting of core courses, a mandatory summer internship, and optional electives in various business areas. The first year covers fundamental business topics, while the second year offers specialization options, including the opportunity for term papers supervised by faculty.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 50% marks in Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution (45% for SC, ST, PwD).
• Grades/CGPA should be converted to percentage as per college/institution norms.
• Integrated masters/dual degree holders considered.
• Aggregate percentage considered for integrated masters/dual degree applicants.
• Recent graduates (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or expected 2024) without marks or CGPA can apply with an institution certificate.

Selection Procedure:

• Stage I - CAT Score: Candidates will be shortlisted based on CAT 2023 score.
• Stage II - PI and WAT: Shortlisted candidates from Stage I will undergo a Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) based on a composite score considering CAT score, Class 10 and Class 12 marks, and gender diversity factor.
• Stage III - Final Selection: Final selection will be based on a composite score, using the parameters outlined in Table below, and will be used to create category-wise merit lists.

IIM Calcutta offers a one-year full-time residential MBA for Executives program designed for experienced professionals with over five years of experience. Notably, IIM Calcutta holds the distinction of being accredited by all three major global management education accreditation agencies: AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS, a recognition shared by only a handful of business schools worldwide.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (minimum 10+2+3 years of formal education)
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time post-qualification managerial or professional experience as of March 31, 2024
• Valid GMAT score (taken within the last 36 months from the application date)
