MHT CET Counselling 2026: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will conduct the MHT CET 2026 counselling at cetcell.mahacet.org. The counselling round is conducted for candidates who will pass the MHT CET exam 2026. There are three rounds of counselling, also called MHT CET CAP. After each round of counselling, the conducting body releases the MHT CET Seat Matrix 2026. It contains the total seat intake for each participating college.

MHT CET Counselling 2026 - Registration for Scrutiny Centre

MHT CET Seats for Outside Maharashtra

Through MHT CET score, students outside Maharashtra are also given admission to engineering and pharmacy courses in state government colleges of Maharashtra. However, only 15% of the total seats are reserved for Non-Maharashtra students. • The MHT CET CAP 2026 registration for B.E/B.Tech admission will start soon on the official website. Candidates can check the CAP Round 3 seat allotment on the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.
• Before the seat allotment result, registered students will have to fill in the choices of the preferred courses and colleges. The MHT CET seat allotment will be done on the basis of the rank secured by candidates and the choices they have filled in.
• A Minimum of 1 and a maximum of 300 options can be chosen by the candidate.
• An online option form requires the candidate to enter the institute choice code along with the option number. Applicants should rank their preferences for Institutes and Courses in decreasing order.
• If a candidate receives the seat according to his/her first preference, the selection will be automatically frozen, and the applicant must accept the selection. Such a candidate will not be permitted to take part in the next MHT CET CAP rounds.

Step 1: Registration
