MHT CET Counselling 2024: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra conducts the MHT CET 2024 counselling at cetcell.mahacet.org. The counselling round is conducted for candidates who pass the MHT CET exam 2024. There are three rounds of counselling also called MHT CET CAP. After each round of counselling, the conducting body releases the MHT CET Seat Matrix 2024. It contains the total seat intake for each participating college. MHT CET CAP date is July 14, 2024. Students who qualified the exam are eligible to register for the counselling process till July 28, 2024.

The counselling round for the MHT CET exam 2024 is conducted after the declaration of the result. MHT CET Counselling 2024 - Registration for Scrutiny Center

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released the registration dates for the Scrutiny Center. The centres can register themselves from July 3, 2024 to July 6, 2024. Moreover, the MHT CET Counselling is expected to start from the third week of July 2024.

MHT CET Seats for Outside Maharashtra

Through MHT CET score, students outside Maharashtra are also given admission to engineering and pharmacy courses in state government colleges of Maharashtra. However, only 15% of the total seats are reserved for Non-Maharashtra students. The separate merit list is released for final admission by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra on its official website.

MHT CET CAP Round 2024

• The MHT CET CAP 2024 registration for B.E/B.Tech admission will start soon on the official website. Candidates can check the CAP Round 1 seat allotment on the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.
• Before the seat allotment result, registered students will have to fill in the choices of the preferred courses and colleges. The MHT CET seat allotment will be done on the basis of the rank secured by candidates and the choices they have filled in.
• A Minimum of 1 and a maximum of 300 options can be chosen by the candidate.
• An online option form requires the candidate to enter the institute choice code along with the option number. Applicants should rank their preferences for Institutes and Courses in decreasing order.
• If a candidate receives the seat according to his/her first preference, the selection will be automatically frozen, and the applicant must accept the selection. Such a candidate will not be permitted to take part in the next MHT CET CAP rounds.

MHT CET Counselling 2024: Direct Second-Year Admission (Engineering)

Candidates who have passed a minimum of three years or two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks are eligible to apply for direct second-year admission to the engineering program through MHT CET Counselling. Step 1: Registration

The MHT CET Counselling registration., also known as MHT CET CAP registration, is the first step of the counselling process. Students who qualified the MHT CET exam 2024 can register for the counselling round on the official website of the conducting body.
