MHT CET Result 2025: Date, Tie-Breaking Policy, Details Mentioned on Scorecard

MHT CET Result 2025 will be released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra on its official website, cetcell.mahacet.org . The MHT CET result date is June 2025 (tentative). Candidates who appeared for the examination can download the MHT CET scorecard using their login details.

Earlier, the conducting body releases the notification saying that the MHT CET result will be announced likely in June 2025. The official notice said, "MHT-CET-2025 Score card containing percentile Score for the respective Group (PCB and PCM) will be made available to the candidate's in their login in June, 2025." The result is declared in the form of a scorecard containing the marks obtained by candidates and their All India Rank and state rank.

The state conducting body also releases the provisional MHT CET answer key 2025 before the result is announced. The final answer key will be released along with the MHT CET result 2025.

After the result announcement, selected students will be called for the MHT CET counselling 2025. Candidates who pass the exam are required to register for the counselling round after the result is declared.

The MHT CET Cut off is the minimum score that candidates must achieve in order to pass the examination. Candidates who clear the minimum cutoff score will be called for the counselling round by the conducting body.

MHT CET Result 2025: Normalisation Method

As with other significant entrance examinations held in India, the procedure of normalisation is an established practise for evaluating candidate scores across multi-shift papers.

Candidates must note that their percentile scores will be normalised instead of raw scores obtained by the candidate. To prevent bunching and reduce ties, the Percentile Scores will be calculated to a precision of 7 decimal places. The percentile score will be calculated as follows:

MHT CET Result 2025 - How to Check?

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) results can be checked by following these steps:

• Go to cetcell.mahacet.org - the official MHT CET website, and click the "MHT CET Result" link.
• Fill in login information, including application number and password.
• Choose "Submit" from the dropdown.
• On the screen will appear the MHT CET result.
• Verify your result and save it for later use.
• For later use, print out the result.

MHT CET Result 2025: Tie-Breaking Policy

In case of a tie in the MHT CET exam, the following tie-breaking policy is applied:

• Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics in MHT CET will be given higher preference.
• If the tie persists, candidates with higher marks in Physics in MHT CET will be given higher preference.
• If the tie persists, candidates with higher marks in Chemistry in MHT CET will be given higher preference.
• If the tie still persists, the candidate who has scored a higher percentage of marks in the Class 12th examination will be given a higher preference.
• If the tie still persists, the candidate who is older in age will be given higher preference.
