MHT CET Result 2026 - The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, declared the MHT CET 2026 Session 2 PCM Result 2026 on June 19, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the MHT CET second attempt PCM exam can now check and download their scorecard from the official website - cetcell.mahacet.org using the login details such as their registered email ID and password. The MHT CET PCM Result 2026 for the Second Attempt exam was released on June 18, 2026. The PCM's first attempt result was released on June 15, 2026. Earlier, the MHT CET Result 2026 for the PCB Phase 1 exam was released by the examination authority on June 8, 2026.  Applicants could access their scorecards by entering their login credentials in the result login window, such as their registered email ID and password. Along with the results, the Cell will also publish the MHT CET 2026 toppers list on the official portal. The result released contains percentile scores as well as subject-wise scores of physics, chemistry, and mathematics, including All India Rank and State Rank.

The exam-conducting body released the provisional MHT CET answer key 2026 online. The final answer key is released along with the MHT CET result in 2026. After the result announcement, selected students will be called for the MHT CET counselling 2026. Candidates who pass the exam are required to register for the counselling round after the results are declared. The exam body will also release the MHT CET cut-off, which will be the minimum score that candidates must achieve in order to pass the examination. Candidates who clear the minimum cutoff score will be called for the counselling round by the conducting body.

MHT CET Result 2026: Normalisation Method

As with other significant entrance examinations held in India, the procedure of normalisation is an established practice for evaluating candidate scores across multi-shift papers.

Candidates must note that their percentile scores will be normalised instead of the raw scores obtained by the candidate. To prevent bunching and reduce ties, the Percentile Scores will be calculated to a precision of 7 decimal places. The percentile score will be calculated as follows:

MHT CET Result 2026 - How to Check?

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) results can be checked by following these steps:

• Go to cetcell.mahacet.org - the official MHT CET website, and click the "MHT CET Result" link.
• Fill in login information, including application number and password.
• Choose "Submit" from the dropdown.
• On the screen will appear the MHT CET result.
• Verify your result and save it for later use.
• For later use, print out the result.

Note: Details about the candidate, including name, roll number, total marks scored, and qualification status, will be included in the MHT CET result. Applicants are recommended to carefully save a copy of their results until the admissions process is completed.

MHT CET Result 2026 - Merit List

After the announcement of the MHT CET Result 2026, the exam authority will release the MHT CET merit list of the candidates. To check the merit list, candidates need to log in to the official website using their registered email ID and password. The authority will first release the provisional merit list of MHT CET, which will also be open to challenges. Those candidates who are not satisfied with their marks/position in the merit list can challenge online. After reviewing the challenges, the MHT CET final merit list will be released with the names of shortlisted candidates and their overall ranks.

MHT CET Result 2026 - Steps to Check the Merit List

In order to check the MHT CET merit list, candidates need to follow the steps given below.

• Click on the 'Check Final Merit List Status' link available on the homepage of the official site

• A new page will open where candidates will be required to enter their Application ID and Date of Birth

MHT CET Result 2026: Tie-Breaking Policy

In case of a tie in the MHT CET exam, the following tie-breaking policy is applied:

• Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics in MHT CET will be given higher preference.
• If the tie persists, candidates with higher marks in Physics in MHT CET will be given higher preference.
• If the tie persists, candidates with higher marks in Chemistry in MHT CET will be given higher preference.
• If the tie still persists, the candidate who has scored a higher percentage of marks in the Class 12th examination will be given a higher preference.
• If the tie still persists, the candidate who is older in age will be given higher preference.

What After MHT CET Result 2026?

After the MHT CET 2026 results declaration, those candidates who passed the MHT CET exam 2026 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The MHT CET counselling will be held in three rounds, and after completion of each round, the authority will release the MHT CET Seat Matrix. Qualified candidates will also have to register themselves before participating in the MHT CET counselling process.
