MHT CET Seat Matrix 2025: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra releases the seat matrix for MHT CET 2025 after each round of counselling. MHT CET Counselling 2025 will be conducted after the release of the result. MHT CET 2025 Round 1 seat allotment will be released likely in August 2025. Along with the seat allocation list, the conducting body will release the Round 1 seat matrix.
There are three CAP rounds conducted for MHT CET Counselling 2025. For each round, MHT CET seat intake is released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. The seat matrix is released for both B.Tech and B.Pharma candidates separately.
The MHT CET seats are divided into two categories: Category A & Category B. Category A consists of four types of seats: Maharashtra State Candidature Seats, All India Candidature Seats, Supernumerary Seats for J & K Migrants, and Candidature Minority Quota Seats. Similarly, Category B consists of two types of seats: Institutional Quota Seats/ Management Quota and Supernumerary Seats for OCI/ PIO.
Category A students are required to follow the complete Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by State Entrance Test Cell (Maharashtra). While Category B students have to undergo the Certificate Verification Process and then they can apply for the institutes directly.

MHT CET Seat Reservation extended to Vimukta Jati, Nomadic Tribes, and other categories, in addition to OBC, SC, and ST candidates. The reservation policy aligns with the rules and regulations set forth by the State Government of Maharashtra. All government colleges within Maharashtra are mandated to provide seat reservation to the categories specified by the government. MHT CET Seats for Outside Maharashtra
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will reserve 15% of the total seat intake in different colleges of Maharashtra across engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture courses for candidates outside the state of Maharashtra. The non local student can only take admission in those 15% of the total seats. Also, outside Maharashtra student are not eligible for Government and their Aided colleges, they will be eligible for All India Seats of only private colleges.
