Last year, the BITSAT 2025 Phase 1 examination was held from May 26 to 30, 2025. The phase 2 of the exam was conducted on June 22 to 26, 2025. The BITSAT Paper Analysis 2025 for the session 1 exam (both shifts) was held on May 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2025. BITSAT Paper Analysis 2026

BITSAT 2026 exam is likely to be scheduled in May 2026 for session 1 and June 2026 for session 2. The exam is conducted in two shifts on each day of the paper. The detailed paper analysis of both shifts of session 1 and session 2 will be given here. The BITSAT paper has majorly four sections - Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and English & Logical Reasoning. BITSAT Paper Analysis 2023: Session 1 Highlights

  • The overall difficulty level of the BITSAT session 1 exam was evaluated to be moderate, wherein Mathematics and Physics sections were considered to be a bit challenging

BITSAT 2023 session 2 was scheduled between 18th June to 22nd June 2023. Just like session 1, BITSAT session 2 was conducted in different shifts throughout the exam dates. Hence, the paper was held on the 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd June 2023. 

To appear in Session 2, candidates were required to go through the BITSAT Session 2 slot booking process. During this process, candidates can select their preferred date and time slot for the exam, based on the availability of slots. The slot booking process was done in an online mode through the official website. After the slot booking process is completed, candidates receive their BITSAT Admit Card.

No, Getting BITS with 130 marks will not be possible as the BITSAT cutoff is expected to go as high as 240.

What is the BITSAT difficulty level compared to JEE Mains?

Compared to JEE, the BITSAT difficulty level is simpler. However, students must complete 130 questions in 3 hours, hence the BITSAT is a test of your accuracy, speed, and time management.

Is BITSAT tougher than VITEEE?

BITSAT is much more difficult and competitive than VITEEE. The BITSAT entrance exam has a broad syllabus and is administered annually. The BITSAT questions are trickier and more difficult.
