BITSAT Counselling 2026: BITS Pilani will be announcing the dates for BITSAT Iteration I. Once released Candidates can check the dates on official website - bitsadmission.com.BITSAT Counselling 2026: The Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani will release the schedule for BITSAT exam 2026. Candidates will be able to check the dates till Iteration-I on the official website at bitsadmission.com. once the exam schedule is out. The conducting body will announce the dates for the rest of the counselling process soon.
Candidates who will qualify for the BITSAT exam 2026 are eligible to participate in the BITSAT counselling 2026 and seat allotment process. Candidates need to enter their application number and password in the login window to get their BITSAT results 2026 online. The results will be released for the admission into first degree (B.E., M.Sc., B.Pharm.) courses. The detailed BITSAT Cutoff 2026 will also be released for all the three campuses on the official website.

The Counselling will be executed in two major steps, which are: Document Verification and Seat Allotment. Candidates must pay the counselling fees (INR 1000) in order to be a part of the process. The BITSAT Counselling 2026 schedule will cover the release of the wait list and admit list, various Iteration rounds, and fee payment. Moreover, students on the admit list will be given the first preference, and if they leave the counselling round in between, applicants on the wait list will be asked to join in. Every step in the counselling schedule will have a deadline.
After each round of Iteration, students waiting on the BITSAT waitlist will be given an update. Admissions will only be made through the merit list. However, few cases of direct admissions of students meeting the criteria for the same may be made.
BITSAT Counselling Eligibility 2026
Only selected students will be eligible to participate in the Counselling round of BITSAT. Such candidates will be shortlisted completely on merit. The process will be conducted by evaluating the student’s performance in the exam and performance in class 12th. Applicants meeting the required admission criteria will be called for the Counselling round. The required criteria to be eligible for the Counselling round include-

What are BITSAT Iteration rounds?
Candidates must first submit a list of the BITS branches they are most interested in, and after each round of iteration, they will be notified of which stream or branch they will receive through Counselling in BITSAT 2026. Candidates have the option of enrolling in the course or branch that is being offered or continuing on to the next iteration. That means that in the following iteration, the stream is again distributed to the remaining students. The stream you receive following the last iteration is the final one.
