The National Institute of Bank Management, Pune (NIBM Pune), offers admission to its flagship PGDM program in Banking and Financial Services. Formerly known as PGPBF, the program underwent a name change in 2013 after receiving accreditation from AICTE. Nestled in a sprawling 60-acre self-contained campus, NIBM provides an enriching learning environment. Admission to the PGDM program at NIBM Pune requires a minimum of 50% marks in a Bachelor's degree, regardless of the discipline. The fee structure for the PGDM program at NIBM Pune is INR 12,00,000, inclusive of accommodation.

NIBM Pune's flagship course is PGDM in Banking and Financial Services. Admission to this course requires:

Eligibility Criteria: A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent from a recognised University. Candidates should also have a valid national-level exam (CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/GRE) scorecard.

Selection Criteria: Evaluation is based on the Screening Process, Personal Interview, and Writing Ability Test (WAT). In addition to this, academic performance, extracurricular activities, and work experience are also considered for admission.

Evaluation through a Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) is a crucial aspect of the selection process. If WAT is not feasible, an Oral Communication Test (OCT) is conducted, where candidates express their views on a given topic, evaluated by the interview panel. The panel thoroughly assesses extracurricular involvement and work experience. Additionally, academic performance is considered, with average marks in SSC and HSC examinations being taken into account during the assessment.
