KEAM Counselling 2025: CEE Kerala will start the KEAM counselling registration process in online mode. As per last year's trends, it is expected that the Kerala KEAM counselling process will begin in July 2025. Last year, the Centralised Allotment process was started on July 29. Candidates who are qualified for admission to Engineering & Pharmacy courses 2025 are eligible for the counselling rounds. The detailed schedule for the KEAM counselling will be available on the official website - cee.kerala.gov.in.
Last year, the KEAM exam was conducted from June 5 to 10, 2024, in CBT mode. The Kerala KEAM counselling process consists of registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted institutes. Registered candidates will be allotted seats as per their ranks and the availability of the seats.

KEAM Counselling 2025 Registration Fees
Candidates who wish to remit options need to make the payment of the KEAM counselling 2025 registration fee of Rs 2,000. The registration fee will be adjusted in the tuition fee of those candidates who take admission consequent on allotments. KEAM Seat Allotment 2025
Candidates whose names are included in the KEAM Rank List of the various professional courses will be eligible to participate in the KEAM Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). The KEAM seat allotments will be done strictly on the basis of the following factors:
- Course-college options submitted by the candidate
- Candidate’s rank in the KEAM entrance exam
- KEAM Reservation Criteria
Note: Candidates should submit only those options which they are sure to join if allotted.
Step 1: Registering Options
Candidates can register their options by following the below-mentioned steps:
- Visit the official website of CEE Kerala
- Log into the candidate portal using your application number and password
- Click on the ‘Option Registration’ link
- Pay the requisite option registration fee
- Register your course/college options
- Save the registered options
- Preview and make changes in your registered options, if required
- Take a printout of the registered options
- Lastly, log out from the candidate portal to ensure the safety of your account
Note: Candidates can rearrange their registered options any number of times within the stipulated time.
Step 2: Trial Allotment
- Before the closure of the option registration process, CEE will conduct trial allotment during the 1st phase of allotment
- Trial allotment is done to give the candidates an idea about their chances of getting into a particular college or course, on the basis of their rank and registered choices
- However, trial allotment does not guarantee that a particular course or college will be allotted to a candidate
Step 3: Final Allotment
- After the completion of the option registration process, the final seat allotment details will be released by CEE
- Candidates can download their KEAM allotment memo by logging into the candidate portal
- The allotment memo will contain details about the college allotted to the candidate and the payable course fee
Step 4: Seat Confirmation & Subsequent Allotment Rounds
- After receiving the seat allotment, candidates can either accept the allotted seat or they can participate in the subsequent allotment rounds
- If a candidate is satisfied with their seat allotment, they will have to report to the college allotted to them and complete the admission formalities
- In case a candidate fails to pay the requisite fee or join the college, they will lose the seat allotted to them and also the existing options in the relevant stream
- Seat options once lost will not be available in the subsequent allotment phases
- When a seat is allotted to a candidate, all previous allotments stand cancelled
- If a candidate wishes to participate in the subsequent counselling rounds, they will have to log in to their option registration page and confirm their options by clicking on the “confirm” button
Note: After each round of allotment, the last rank details will be released on the official CEE website.

What after KEAM counselling 2025?
After the final seat allotment, candidates must report to their respective institutes, get their documents verified, and complete the admission formalities. If a candidate fails to pay the required fee/report to the institute within the stipulated time, they will lose their allotment.
KEAM Admission 2025: Post-Allotment Activities
Once the candidate has received their final allotment and are satisfied with it, they will be required to follow the mentioned procedure to complete the KEAM admission process:
Step 1: Reporting at the College
After receiving the final allotment, candidates have to report to their institute on the notified dates with the following documents:
- Certificate to prove date of birth
- Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate from the Institution last attended
- Original mark list of the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary or equivalent)
- Pass certificate of the qualifying examination (if issued)
- Eligibility certificate from any University in Kerala, in case the candidate has passed a qualifying examination other than the Higher Secondary Examination/ Vocational Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Government of Kerala or the examination conducted by CBSE and CISCE
- Migration Certificate (if applicable)
- Physical Fitness Certificate in the relevant format
- Receipt of fee remitted
- Date sheet of KEAM 2024
- Admit card of NEET-UG 2024 (if applicable)
- Allotment Memo issued by the CEE
- Any other documents required in the Allotment Memo
- Originals of all the documents and certificates uploaded with the online application
Step 2: Document Verification
The head of the respective Institutes will be responsible for verifying the documents produced by the candidate at the time of admission.
Step 3: Pay the Tuition Fee
- Candidates must pay the required fee/balance fee at the time of admission to the college
- If a candidate fails to pay the fee, they will lose their allotment and also the existing options in their chosen stream
