JEECUP Counselling 2023 commenced on July 27, 2023. Candidates who have passed the UPJEE 2023 examination are eligible to appear for the JEECUP counselling round. Eligible candidates can now fill in their course/college choices by visiting the official JEECUP website. The JEECUP counselling 2023 date will soon be released on the official JEECUP website. Through the JEECUP counselling process, candidates will be given admission into the various polytechnic institutes in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Eligible candidates will be allotted seats in various courses and polytechnic institutes in Uttar Pradesh via the JEECUP counselling process. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of various factors. These include the availability of seats in various institutes and courses, preferences filled by the candidates, JEECUP Cutoff 2023 criteria etc. Candidates must also carry all the important documents to their counselling venue. These include: the candidate’s seat allotment letter, admit card, JEECUP score card, etc.

Once the counselling process is over, candidates will be required to visit their allotted institutes for document verification and fee payment. Candidates must visit their respective institutes within the stipulated time period and complete all the formalities. It must also be noted that after the final seat allotment, no changes will be made to the institute or programme allotted to the candidate.

JEECUP Counselling 2023 Process

Eligible candidates who want to participate in the JEECUP counselling process are required to follow the below mentioned steps:

Step 1: Registration

  • In order to participate in the JEECUP counselling process, candidates will have to register themselves on the official portal
  • Candidates will be required to pay a registration fee of INR 250/- via online mode or e-challan
  • After paying the required fee, candidates will be able to successfully register for the counselling process

Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking

  • After registration, candidates will have to log into official portal
  • Candidates will then select and lock their preferred institute and course choices
  • Candidates are advised to submit as many choices as possible
  • After every round of counselling, candidates will be able to change their choices and also add new choices

Step 3: Seat Allotment

  • Candidates will be able to check their seat allotment letter by logging into their account
  • After receiving the seat allotment letter, candidates can decide to either freeze or float their seat
  • Candidates are advised to freeze their seats in the first round of counselling itself as in the subsequent rounds the number of seats will keep decreasing

Step 4: Visiting Allotted Institute and Document Verification

  • Once the candidate has freezed their seat, they will have to visit their allotted institute within the stipulated time period
  • After visiting the allotted institutes, candidates have to get their documents verified and pay the admission fee
