JEECUP Counselling 2025: Dates, Choice Filling Facility, Seat Allotment & Seat Matrix

JEECUP Counselling 2025: The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh will start the UPJEE (P) counselling process from in online mode. Candidates who qualified for the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (UPJEE(P) will be able to register for the counselling process for admission. 

The JEECUP Council will announce the UPJEE Polytechnic result tentativley in June. Last year, it was released on June 27, 2024, on its official website - jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The counselling process will include selection, records verification, fee deposit, application for counseling stages, seat allotment rules for cancellation, duration for each stage, withdrawal from counseling process in the institute and reporting, etc.

JEECUP Counselling 2025 Procedure 

The JEECUP counselling process includes various steps including registration, choice filling, fee payment, seat allotment and reporting to the allotted college for document verification. Candidates can have a look at the flowchart below to get a better understanding of the UPJEE Polytechnic counselling procedure. 

JEECUP Counselling 2025

Eligible candidates who want to participate in the JEECUP counselling process are required to follow the below mentioned steps:

Step 1: Registration

• In order to participate in the JEECUP counselling process, candidates will have to register themselves on the official portal
• Candidates will be required to pay a registration fee of INR 250/- via online mode or e-challan
• After paying the required fee, candidates will be able to successfully register for the counselling process

Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking

• After registration, candidates will have to log into official portal
• Candidates will then select and lock their preferred institute and course choices
• Candidates are advised to submit as many choices as possible
• After every round of counselling, candidates will be able to change their choices and also add new choices

Step 3: Seat Allotment

• Candidates will be able to check their seat allotment letter by logging into their account
• After receiving the seat allotment letter, candidates can decide to either freeze or float their seat
• Candidates are advised to freeze their seats in the first round of counselling itself as in the subsequent rounds the number of seats will keep decreasing

Step 4: Visiting Allotted Institute and Document Verification

• Once the candidate has freezed their seat, they will have to visit their allotted institute within the stipulated time period
• After visiting the allotted institutes, candidates have to get their documents verified and pay the admission fee
