CCMT Counselling 2025 schedule will be released by the Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. Admissions at ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Students eligible to participate can check the CCMT Counselling dates, once released.
Once the registration ends, candidates can fill in their preferred choices of courses and colleges. Following the choice filling round, CCMT seat allotment list is released. Usually, there are three rounds of CCMT Counselling. Additional rounds will take place if seats remain vacant.
Students who have registered for the CCMT Counselling process can download the seat allotment list from the official website. Candidates who are satisfied with their seat allotment can choose the freeze option to confirm their seat. If not, students have the option to choose Float and Slide. After the seat allotment list is out, CCMT opening and closing ranks are released round wise.
Students who are allotted seats in the seat allotment have to pay the seat acceptance fee and upload documents. The window for resolution of any queries raised during online document verification, and process related to willingness/withdrawal will be open for registered candidates.

CCMT 2025 (for regular rounds) will consist of the following stages:
- The first stage involves online registration, payment of registration fee, filling and locking of choices.
- The second stage involves three rounds of counselling. This includes allotment of seats, paying the seat acceptance fee and online document verification.
- The third stage includes taking admission in the allotted institute by depositing the partial admission fee in the stipulated time.
- After the admission, the candidates are required to report at the finally allotted institute in the ‘Final Reporting’ period.
What is CCMT?
Centralised Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan./M.Des. (CCMT) is a centralised counselling process conducted for admissions in postgraduate programs in engineering, architecture, planning, and design. It allows candidates to apply for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan./M.Des. programs in participating institutes all NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and some IIITs & CFTIs based on their GATE scores.

CCMT Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below in order to apply for CCMT 2025:
- To be eligible for CCMT 2025, candidates must possess a valid GATE score from the year 2023/ 2024/ 2025.
- Candidates must have completed their qualifying degree (B.Tech./B.E./B.Arch. or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- B.Tech./B.E./B.Arch final year students are eligible to apply. However, they must submit the proof of passing the qualifying degree by September 2025.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying degree (55% in case of SC/ST candidates).
CCMT Registration Process
To register for CCMT Counselling, candidates need to visit the official CCMT website, fill out the registration form and select their preferred programs and colleges.The registration process for CCMT 2025 involves the following steps:
- Visit the official website- ccmt.admissions.nic.in
- Register by providing the necessary credentials such as GATE registration number, GATE score etc.
- Fill out the Application form by providing GATE credentials, qualifying degrees and personal details.
- Complete the payment process by paying the registration fee.
- Upon successful payment, candidates will be able to fill and lock their choices of programmes in the order of their preference
CCMT Seat Allotment Date 2025
The seat allotment process involves the allocation of seats to candidates based on their GATE scores, choices filled during counselling, and availability of seats in the participating institutes. The CCMT seat allotment date will be determined based on the counselling schedule which will tentatively be released in June 2025.
CCMT Seat Allotment Process 2025
The seats will be allotted on the basis of choices submitted by the candidates during registration and the merit secured in GATE 2025. The allotment result will be declared on the CCMT website and candidates will be able to download their Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL) from their CCMT login portal after depositing the Seat Acceptance Fee.
On allotment of a seat, the candidate is required to pay the seat acceptance fee, upload the required documents, and submit willingness within the stipulated time as notified on the website.
After taking admission in the allotted institute by depositing the partial admission fee in the stipulated time, the candidates are required to report at the finally allotted institute in the “Final Reporting” period, failing which their seat will be cancelled and the fee deposited will be forfeited.
CCMT Dates for Special Rounds
Special rounds in CCMT 2025 refer to the additional rounds for seat allotment beyond the main counselling process in order to fill any vacant seats. Important dates for special rounds will be announced by the conducting authority on the official website. No dates for CCMT 2025 special rounds have been announced as of now.
