GATE Cutoff 2023: Check Paper-wise Qualifying Cutoff, Previous year cutoff, & Top IITs Cutoff
The qualifying and admission cutoff are two types of the GATE cutoff. The lowest score needed to pass the exam is called the qualifying cutoff. The GATE admission cutoff shows the minimum score needed for admission to IITs, NITs, and GFTIs.
GATE Cutoff 2023
GATE Cutoff 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has released the GATE cutoff 2023 on the official website. The cutoff is the minimum marks required by candidates to qualify the GATE 2023 exam. The GATE counselling will be open to candidates who clear the cutoff.
The GATE cutoff is divided into qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff. The qualifying cutoff just indicates the minimum marks required by candidates out of 100 to pass the exam. On the other hand, the GATE admission cutoff indicates the minimum marks required by candidates for admission to IITs, NITs & GFTIs. Scoring qualifying marks in the GATE 2023 exam does not necessarily mean that the candidate will be granted admission.
The GATE PSU cutoff is separately released by participating Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). Based on these cutoff scores, qualified candidates will be called for the interview round. The final recruitment in PSUs is done on the basis of the final merit list released by respective PSUs. Also Read: GATE 2023 Result
GATE Cutoff 2023
The GATE cutoff is released after the release of the result. The paper-wise qualifying score is mentioned on the GATE scorecard. The admission cutoff is released separately by participating engineering colleges based on which final admission will be granted to qualified candidates.
GATE Cutoff Dates 2023
The GATE cutoff date has not been announced yet. However, the GATE result will be released on March 16, 2023. Following the release of the result, GATE cutoff will also be released.
