DCECE Counselling 2023: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the schedule for the Mop-up round of counselling for DCECE 2023. The provisional seat allotment result for the DCECE Mop-up Counselling round will be released on September 13, 2023, on the official BCECEB website. The DCECE Counselling 2023 process began on July 28, 2023, in the online mode. Candidates who have not yet been allotted a seat in the first two rounds of counselling can participate in the Mop-up round.

The Mop-up round will be conducted in an online mode. Candidates will be required to log in to the BCECEB website and fill up a choice form. The seat allotment result will be released on the basis of the choices filled by the candidates. The document verification and admission process for the Mop-up round will be held from September 14 to 15, 2023. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the Mop-up round will have to complete the document verification process in order to secure their admission. DCECE Counselling 2023: Explained

In order to participate in the DCECE counselling process, candidates are required to follow a certain procedure. Candidates must ensure that they comply with the all the rules and regulations while participating in the counselling process. 

The steps involved in the DCECE counselling 2023 process have been explained below:

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Candidates who clear the DCECE exam will have to register online to participate in the DCECE counselling process
  • Candidates will have to log into the official BCECEB website of DCECE & enter the following details in order to register for the counselling round: candidate’s roll number, name and date of birth, father’s name, address, mobile number etc.

Step 2: Online Option Entry

  • After completing the online registration, candidates will be required to select the institutes of their choice
  • Candidates will have to select their preferred institutes from the list of institutes available on the board’s official website
  • After selecting the preferred institutes, candidates will be required to lock and submit their final choices
  • Next, candidates must take a printout of their locked choices and secure it for future reference

Step 3: Provisional Seat Allotment

  • Once the candidates have locked and submitted their institute choices, they will be receiving their provisional seat allotment letter 
  • Candidates can check and download their provisional seat allotment letter by logging into the official BCECEB website
  • Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their names of the preferred institutes submitted by them, their score in the entrance exam and the availability of seats in the various courses/streams & institutes in Bihar
  • Candidates must take a printout of their provisional seat allotment letter and keep it safe for future reference
  • Candidates must carry the hard copy of their DCECE provisional seat allotment letter to their counselling venue along with the other required documents

Step 4: Document Verification and Seat Confirmation

  • Candidates who have received the DCECE seat allotment letter are then required to visit their allotted institutes in order to complete the admission process
  • Candidates must ensure that they carry all the required documents and certificates at the time of document verification
  • Candidates must ensure that they get their documents verified within the stipulated time
  • Finally, candidates will have to pay the required admission fee to their respective institutes and complete the admission procedure
