Latest Updates: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the schedule for the Mop-up round of counselling for the Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) 2023. The provisional seat allotment result for the Mop-up round will be released on September 13, 2023 on the official BCECEB website. The DCECE Counselling 2023 process commenced on July 28, 2023 in the online mode. 

DCECE Exam 2023: The DCECE results 2023 were released on July 20, 2023. Candidates can check their DCECE results by visiting the official website. This year, the DCECE exam 2023  was conducted from June 24, 2023 to June 25, 2023 in offline mode. The DCECE Admit Card 2023 was made available on June 14, 2023 on the official website.

Candidates who wish to appear for the DCECE entrance examination are required to submit the DCECE Application Form to BCECEB within the stipulated time. DCECE Eligibility Criteria 2023

Candidates who wish to appear for the DCECE entrance examination must satisfy the DCECE Eligibility Criteria 2023. The eligibility criteria is released along with the official exam notification. Candidates can download the official exam notification from the official site of BCECEB. To be eligible for DCECE, candidates must be Indian citizens

and hold a domicile of Bihar or fulfill specified residency requirements. Candidates must also be physically fit. 

The educational requirements & age criteria will vary for different courses which include Polytechnic Engineering (PE), Paramedical Matric Level (PMM) & Paramedical Intermediate Level (PM). Candidates are advised to carefully go through the specific eligibility criteria for the particular course they seek admission into.

DCECE Admit Card 2023

Candidates who have successfully registered for the DCECE examination can download their DCECE Admit Card 2023  from the official website of BCECEB.

The steps to download the DCECE admit card are as follows:

• Go to the official portal of BCECEB
• Next, click on the link for downloading “Admit Card for DCECE 2023”
• Log into the official site using your email ID and password/registration number and date of birth
• Your DCECE 2023 admit card will be displayed on the screen
• You can now download your DCECE admit card & take its print out for further use

DCECE Pattern 2023

The DCECE Exam Pattern is released along with the official exam notification. Candidates must note that the DCECE exam pattern will vary for different courses that include Polytechnic Engineering (PE), Paramedical Matrix Level (PMM) & Paramedical Intermediate Level (PM). It must also be noted that separate question papers will be prepared for different courses. Each paper will consist of  90 objective-type questions and each question will carry 5 marks. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. The duration of the DCECE exam will be 2 hours and 15 minutes. Candidates must go through the exam pattern carefully and only then get into the exam preparation process.

As per the DCECE marking scheme, 5 marks will be given for each correct answer & there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. Thus, candidates can calculate their exam score by multiplying the total number of correct answers marked by them by 5. Candidates can also refer to the DCECE answer keys while solving the DCECE previous years’ papers. This will help the candidates to comprehensively prepare for the entrance examination. 

DCECE Result 2023

 The DCECE results are announced on the official website of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). Candidates can directly download their DCECE rank card by visiting the board's official website. Candidates can download their rank cards using their roll number and date of birth. Candidates who pass the entrance examination will be eligible for participating in the DCECE counselling round. 

DCECE Cutoff 2023

DCECE refers to the minimum marks or ranks required by candidates to secure a seat in their preferred course and college. The DCECE cutoff is determined based on factors such as the number of available seats, the difficulty level of the exam, and the overall performance of the candidates. On the basis of the cutoff marks, eligible candidates are shortlisted for admission into various PE/PM/PMM courses/colleges in the state of Bihar.

DCECE Counselling 2023

Candidates who pass the DCECE exam will be eligible for appearing in the DCECE counselling round.  The counselling process is divided into four steps which includes online registration, option entry/choice filling, provisional seat allotment & seat confirmation. Through the DCECE counselling process, eligible candidates will be given admission into various polytechnic, paramedical institutions in Bihar. At the time of DCECE, candidates must carry all the required documents to their respective counselling venue.
