TS EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2026: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will release the eligibility criteria for the TS EAMCET exam 2026 on its official website. The eligibility criteria are released along with the official notification. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility requirements can fill out the application form available on the official website. It must be noted that students who fail to meet the eligibility requirements will be disqualified from the exam selection process.

Aspirants must meet eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications, age limits, and nationality requirements. The basic eligibility criteria are that candidates must have 10+2 in a relevant subject with a minimum percentage as required by the exam conducting body. Aspiring students must have a minimum age of 16 years as of December 31, 2025.

TS EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2026

The TS EAMCET exam is conducted for admission into various undergraduate courses in engineering, agriculture, and medical fields offered by various colleges and universities in the state of Telangana. Candidates applying for the exam must fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed in the official notification. This article will contain detailed information on TS EAMCET eligibility criteria.

TS EAMCET Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications

Candidates wishing to take admission in different courses offered through the TS EAMCET exam in engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture branches must fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria. The detailed subject-wise eligibility criteria is mentioned below:

For Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (Food Technology) courses:

• The candidate must have passed the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with mathematics, physics, and chemistry as optional subjects, or related vocational courses in the fields of engineering and technology. 
• Those enrolled from the academic year 2000-2002 onwards must also pass bridge courses administered by the conducting body, or any other examination recognised as equivalent.

OR

Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.

For B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture / B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture/ B.Sc. (Forestry) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc., for the remaining 50% seats in B.Tech. (FT) Course and B.Sc. (Nursing):

• The Board of Intermediate Education in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh would accept candidates who have passed or appeared in the last year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) in any two or three of the courses listed against each programme listed below.
• Candidates from the unreserved and reserved categories, respectively, must have at least 45% and 40% of the total marks in the relevant subjects (MPC or BiPC), evaluated using the 10+2 pattern.

For Pharm –D Course

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology optional subjects.

OR

Candidates must have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent.

TS EAMCET Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

• Candidates for engineering and pharmacy programmes must be at least 16 years old as of December 31 of the admission year. There is no maximum age.
• Candidates applying for the B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), and B.Tech. (FT) programmes must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year. There is also a maximum age of 22 years for all applicants and 25 years for candidates from the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes wishing to take admission in the aforementioned programmes. 

TS EAMCET Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

• Applicants must hold an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card or be of Indian nationality or People of Indian Origin (PIO).
• The candidates must be residents of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. In accordance with the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974, as later revised, applicants must meet the local and non-local status requirements.
