OJEE Eligibility 2025

OJEE Eligibility Criteria is released along with the official notification by the conducting body. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam OJEE exam 2025 must fulfil the prescribed eligibility requirements. The OJEE 2025 exam is conducted every year for admission to several undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different colleges of the State of Odhisa. 

Candidates applying for UG programs must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board or institution. Similarly, candidates applying for PG programs must have passed graduation in a relevant discipline from a recognized board or university. Students in the final year of graduation can also apply for the exam. There is also a provision for Lateral Entry admission. Candidates must have a diploma in a relevant stream for lateral admission. 

Candidates who fulfil all the provisions of the prescribed eligibility can fill out the OJEE 2025 application form. The application form must be filled out correctly with all personal and educational details. Any discrepancy in the application form can lead to the rejection of candidature.

OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2025: Highlights

Candidates can apply for the OJEE exam 2025 for admission to courses such as B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.CAT, MBA, MCA, M.Pharm, and others. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to all these courses differ. A student must fulfil the eligibility requirements for the course he or she wishes to enrol in.

OR

Passed minimum 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

B.Pharm

4 years

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics & Chemistry as mandatory subjects along with Mathematics/Biology

B.CAT

4 years

Cinematography: Passed or appearing in 2025 Intermediate (10+2) in Science from CHSE, Odisha /CBSE/ICSE / other State Board or any equivalent recognized by CHSE. 

Sound Recording and Design: Passed or appearing in 2025 Intermediate (10+2) in Science from CHSE, Odisha /CBSE/ICSE / other State Board or any equivalent recognized by CHSE.

 Film Editing: Passed or appearing in 2025 Intermediate (10+2) in Science/Arts /Commerce from CHSE, Odisha / CBSE/ICSE / other State Board or any equivalent recognized by CHSE.

LE-Tech

3 years

Passed Minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology. 

OR 

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. 

OR 

Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector. 

(the students belonging to B.Sc. Stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream) 

(The Universities may offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme)

LE-Tech (Marine)

3 years

Candidates wishing to take lateral entry in Marine Engineering courses must have a diploma in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical & Electrical & Electronics

LE -Pharm

3 years

Candidates must have a diploma with at least 45% marks. Students from the reserved category must have at least 40% marks.

MBA

2 years

Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates)

MCA

2 years

Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree. 

OR 

Candidates who have passed B.Sc/B.Com/BA with Mathematics (at 10+2 level or graduation level) can also apply.

Candidates must have scored 50% marks as an aggregate (45% marks for reserved category candidates)

Integrated MBA

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 45% marks as an aggregate (40% marks for reserved category candidates)

M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan

2 years

Candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates)

M.Pharm

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with 55% marks as an aggregate (50% marks for reserved category candidates)

OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2025: Age Limit

As per the eligibility criteria released for the OJEE exam 2025, there is no age limit to apply for the exam. However, candidates who wish to apply for the B.Tech (Marine Engineering) must not be older than 22 years of age 

OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2025: Domicile

Candidates who wish to apply for the OJEE exam 2025 must belong to the Odhisa State Category (S-Category). Candidates are given the status of S-Category if they fulfil any of the three following criteria:

  • For admission to the Bachelor's Degree programme, the candidate must have passed/appeared in the 10+2 examination from any of the recognised institutions in the state of Odisha. 
  • The candidate's parents must be Odisha natives. To claim benefit under this criteria, a candidate must present a "resident/ nativity certificate" in stipulated form (AppendixIII) from a Revenue Officer not lower than the level of Tahasildar of the region to which his/her parents are native. 
  • Employees of the Government of Odhisa/Government of India/Government of Odisha Undertakings/Government of India Undertakings who are serving in the State of Odisha at the time of application

Note: Students must note that they are eligible for admission to the Private College of Odhisa if they do not have the S-Category status.
