OJEE Counselling 2024

OJEE Counselling 2024 is conducted for all those candidates who have been allotted a rank. Candidates who have been allotted a rank and are included in the OJEE merit list will be called for the counselling session. OJEE counselling 2024 will be conducted in online mode by participating institutes. After the conclusion of the counselling round, the participating colleges offer the seat allotment letter to selected candidates.

The OJEE seat allotment result is released on the official website. Candidates are allotted seats based on the marks scored by them in the entrance examination and the final merit list. After the seat allotment is done, selected candidates are required to accept the seat by paying a seat acceptance fee. Further, students who have been allotted a seat are required to report to the allotted college and pay the admission fee to confirm their seat. Students failing to confirm their seat after accepting it will not be allowed to participate in further counselling rounds. 

OJEE counselling is open to candidates who have a valid JEE Main score. The counselling for both JEE Main and OJEE qualified candidates is conducted separately. Students must be aware that preference will be given to candidates with the JEE Main score.

OJEE 2024 Counselling Process 

The OJEE 2024 counselling process is divided into five steps: Registration, Option Filling/Option Locking, Seat Allotment Result, Document Verification, and Seat Acceptance. Interested candidates can check the detailed step-by-step counselling process below:

Registration

  • After the declaration of the OJEE result, candidates who qualify the exam have to register for the counselling round.
  • The OJEE counselling application form can be accessed from the official website of OJEE.
  • Fill in details like roll number, date of birth, category, and gender
  • Fill in details like course selected, marks, rank, and upload required documents
  • Also select the entrance exam qualified such as OJEE, JEE Main, CAT, XAT, CMAT, etc.
  • Pay a counselling fee of INR 450 for successful registration. Candidates will receive a password on their registered email address.

Choice Filling & Choice Locking

  • Once the registration is done successfully, candidates can fill in choices and lock them. 
  • In the second step, students must choose their course and specialization from the list of OJEE participating institutes.
  • After filling out their choices, candidates must lock them. The choices cannot be modified once they are locked.

Seat Allotment 

  • The counselling body releases the seat allotment list for all participating colleges after the conclusion of the registration and choice filling/locking process.
  • The seat allotment list is released based on the choices filled by candidates and a merit list/rank list.
  • If candidates are satisfied with the seat allotment, they have to secure their seat by paying a seat acceptance fee. If they are not satisfied with the seat allotment, they can wait for the next seat allotment list.

Document Verification

  • The fourth step is to go for the document verification process.
  • The scanned copy of the original documents must be uploaded by the candidates on the counselling portal.
  • Once done with uploading the required documents, a final seat allotment list will be released containing the name of the candidate, allotted college, course, and reporting date and time.

Final Admission

  • Once the final seat is allotted to the candidate, they have to confirm their admission.
  • The admission is confirmed by reporting to the allotted college on a given date and time.
  • Candidates have to pay a full or partial admission after the final seat allotment result.
  • If any candidate withdraws after the final seat allotment, then they will be barred from participating in further seat allotment rounds.

OJEE 2024 Seat Matrix

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) releases the OJEE seat intake for participating colleges on its official website. The OJEE seat matrix 2024 is released category-wise and course-wise for each participating institute. The seat intake is released after the conclusion of the OJEE counselling 2024.
