KCET Counselling 2025: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has extended the date to enter the options for Round 3 medical and dental seat allotment till 12:30 PM on October 17, 2025. The Medical Education Department (MED) has issued the seat matrix by enhancing 50 medical seats in Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences for those candidates who wish to participate.
Those who have already taken admisssion in medical colleges this year can also register for four other colleges, including BIDAR and BIMS.

- KCET Seat Allotment Round 2 schedule has been revised. Candidates must complete the fee payment for choice 1 and 2 by September 3 and those opting for choice 3 must make a caution deposit of INR 10,000 by September 3.
- Candidates ipting Choice-1 must download their seat confirmation slip on September 4 by 5:30 pm. They are also required to report to their alloted colleges by 6:30 pm. They must carry their original documents and two passport size photograph while reporting to the alooted college.
- KCET Mock Seat Allotment Result 2025 for Round 2 has been released. The last date for KCET counselling is August 30.
- KEA has released the Karnataka UGNEET 2025 Mock Result on its official website. Candidates can add, delete, or rectify their options for the first round of allotment from July 26, 2025, to July 29, 2025. The Karnataka UGCET provisional first allotment will be released on August 1, 2025.
Candidates who qualified for the KCET exam 2025 will need to verify their documents in person as per their ranks. The complete schedule for the KCET Counselling 2025 will be released on the official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. For KCET 2025, a total of 1,32,309 engineering seats are available. Additionally, a 5% supernumerary quota is allocated for each college and course, resulting in a total seat intake slightly exceeding 1,32,309.

KCET Counselling 2025: Documents Required

KCET Counselling Process 2025
On the basis of the KCET rank list/merit list 2025 prepared by KEA, eligible candidates will be considered for seat allotment. Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of the college-course options filled by them and the seat matrix issued by the state government. Eligible candidates will be allotted seats in various colleges in the state of Karnataka through the KCET 2025 counselling process. The steps involved in the KCET Counselling 2025 process have been explained below:
Step 1: KCET Document Verification 2025
- Once the KCET rank list 2025 is released, candidates with a valid rank must visit their nearest helpline centre (the schedule for the same will be released on the official website of KEA)
- At the KCET counselling venue, candidates must present their original documents along with two photocopies
- Documents will be verified to the ones uploaded by the candidates while filling out the KCET 2025 application form
- After the successful completion of the document verification process, the concerned authorities will provide a verification slip and acknowledgment card to the candidates
- Candidates must carefully verify all the details mentioned in their verification slip before leaving the KCET counselling venue
- Once the document verification process is completed and the verification slip is issued, no changes will be entertained by the authorities
Step 2: KCET Choice Filling & Locking Process 2025
- Candidates who successfully complete the document verification process will then be required to log into the official KEA website using their unique identity and password
- Candidates can then fill out the college and course options on the basis of their KCET rank and preferences
- Candidates will also be able to check the KCET Seat Matrix 2025 at the time of choice filling
- KCET seat matrix 2025 will be made available on the official KEA website
- Later, candidates can also modify the college-course options selected by them
Step 3: KCET Seat Allotment 2025
- After the completion of the choice filling & locking process, KCET Seat Allotment 2025 result will be released on the official website
- Seat allotment will be done on the basis of the candidate’s KCET rank, college-course preferences and KCET reservation criteria (if applicable)
- Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats will then have to confirm their seats by paying fees and downloading the seat allotment order slip
Step 4: Reporting to Allotted Institute
- Candidates who have been allotted seats will then have to visit their allotted as per the schedule released on the official website
- Candidates must carry the required documents along with the KCET 2025 seat allotment letter to their allotted institute
- In order to confirm their admission, candidates must pay the required tuition fees to their respective institute
What after KCET Counselling 2025?
After the completion of the KCET seat allotment 2025 process, candidates will have to visit their allotted institute and confirm their admission by paying the required tuition fees. After the completion of each round of KCET counselling, the KCET Cut Off 2025 will be released on the KEA website.
