GUJCET Exam 2024:The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has released the GUJCET result on May 9, 2024, at 9 am in online mode. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam can check their result through the official websites - gujcet.org or gujcet.gseb.org.

Registered candidates must note that the GUJCET result 2024 can be checked by entering the necessary login details in the login window. Candidates must obtain minimum qualifying marks of 40% to pass the exam. Only qualified candidates are included in the rank list by GSEB. This year, the board conducted the GUJCET exam on March 31, 2024.

What is GUJCET Exam 2024?

The GUJCET exam is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The examination is conducted for eligible candidates aspiring to get admitted into one of the  BTech and BPharma programs. The examination is conducted for admission to only Gujarat-based colleges.

The question paper of GUJCET is a mixture of topics from subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Gujarat Board Class 11 and 12. The exam will have a total of 120 questions, 40 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and the total duration of the exam will be 3 hours. Candidates preparing must be well versed with the pattern of the GUJCET exam for which it is advised to solve the Previous Year's Questions.

GUJCET  Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to appear for the GUJCET exam. Students must meet the eligibility criteria for the exam selection process. Hence, applicants must verify their eligibility before applying for the exam. Interested applicants can check the eligibility criteria below:

  • The candidate must be an Indian and should have a domicile in Gujarat.
  • The candidates should have passed or appeared for Class 12 or equivalent.
  • The candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subject for pharmacy.
  • The candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subject for Engineering.
  • Candidates should have scored 45% (40% for the reserved category) in Class 12.

GUJCET Application Form 2024

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB)  releases the application form on its official website. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form. To complete the application form, students must correctly fill out personal and academic details, upload relevant documents, and pay the application fee.

GUJCET Application Fee

Following the completion of the registration process, candidates are required to remit the application fee for GUJCET 2024. This fee can be conveniently settled online via credit/debit card or internet banking, or through any branch of SBI. The application fee amount remains consistent across all categories applying for GUJCET 2024, set at Rs 350.

GUJCET Admit Card 2024

The GUJCET admit card was released on the official website. Only candidates who successfully fill out the application form will receive the admit card. The admit card can be downloaded using the registration number and date of birth. Students must carry their admit card to the examination centre failing which they will not be allowed to take the examination. Aspirants must also check the details mentioned on the admit card. 

GUJCET Exam Pattern 2024

Candidates preparing for the GUJCET exam must know the exam pattern. Understanding exam patterns helps candidates get an idea of the number of questions asked in the exam, the duration of the exam, and the marking scheme. GUJCET Syllabus 2024

Candidates must understand the syllabus for preparing in a more streamlined way. The syllabus outlines important topics and subtopics from where questions are asked in the examination. The GUJCET syllabus includes subjects like Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology for admission to engineering & medical programs. To cover the syllabus comprehensively, candidates can start from Class XI & Class XII NCERT books. Once done with the NCERT books, candidates can move to the standard books.

GUJCET Previous Year Question Papers

Apart from completing the syllabus from NCERT & standard books, aspirants must also practice previous year question papers. This allows them to assess their strengths and weaknesses and strategize their preparation accordingly. 

GUJCET Answer Key 2024

The GUJCET Answer Key is released by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) after the successful conclusion of the exam. The answer key released before the result is provisional. In other words, candidates can challenge the answer key if they are not satisfied with the answer provided in the answer key. Candidates who wish to challenge the GUJCET answer key 2024 must email their objections along with all necessary information to gujcetkey@gmail.com. 

Along with the answer key, GBSE also releases the response sheet on its official website. The response sheet contains the answers marked by the candidate.

GUJCET Result 2024

The GUJCET result has been released by GSEB on its official website after the successful conclusion of the exam. Candidates who pass the exam are included in the rank list. Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks to pass the exam. The minimum qualifying mark for general category students is 40% 

GUJCET Counselling 2024

After a candidate passes the exam, GUJCET counseling is held. Applicants who qualify for the counseling round must sign up on the website. They are contacted for the document verification and choice filling and locking procedure once they register. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is the organizing body of GUJCET Counselling. Selected applicants must report to the assigned college when the seat allocation results are released. It must be noted that admission is confirmed only after the candidate pays the admission fee.
