To qualify for admission to the Fellow program, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree from a recognized university or its equivalent in Engineering and Technology, Management, Economics, Social Science, or Commerce, with a FIRST CLASS distinction. Candidates currently in the process of completing their final examinations are also eligible to apply. If selected, their admission will be provisional, contingent on them meeting all requirements to obtain their Master's Degree by the 30th of September in the admission year. The admission status of such candidates will remain provisional until they submit their mark sheet as evidence of meeting the eligibility criteria.

Admission will be subject to fulfilling the minimum qualification requirements. Evaluation will be based on the FPM Entrance Test, conducted by Jaipuria Institute, Lucknow which assesses knowledge in business and management, general awareness, research methodology, as well as general and teaching aptitude. This computer-based test will consist of objective-type questions. Candidates shortlisted based on their performance in the written test will undergo a Personal Interview as the next step in the evaluation process.
