IIT Kharagpur Placements 2024: Highest Package, Average CTC and Median CTC

IIT Kharagpur Placement 2024: Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, stands as one of the leading technological institutes in India. The placement drive for the batch of 2023 concluded with an impressive count of 1600 offers, including 45 international offers. Additionally, the institute provided 900 internship opportunities for its candidates.More than 700 offers, encompassing Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), were secured by the institute's students. Participating companies, exceeding 61 in number, represented a wide range of profiles, including software, analytics, finance-banking, consulting, and core engineering. 

During the first day of the IIT Kharagpur placement drive, an impressive 121 profiles were generated for students who had received more than 19 international offers. This included six students who were extended exceptional packages exceeding Rs 1 crore CTC. Companies adopted a hybrid interview approach, with a significant number opting for in-person interactions. Notably, the IIT Kharagpur Placement Drive 2023 showcased a remarkable highest package of INR 2.68 Crore Per Annum (CPA).

The IIT Kharagpur MBA placement 2023 recorded the highest CTC at INR 43.37 LPA, an average CTC of INR 22.13 LPA, and a median CTC of INR 21.04 LPA. The roster of major recruiting companies during the IIT Kharagpur MBA placement drive 2023 included names like IBM, Puma, Capgemini, Deloitte, EY, ICICI Bank, Cognizant, Aditya Birla Group, Lenovo, and more. The MBA class of 2022-2024 also witnessed a successful Summer Placements season, with several prominent new recruiters from diverse industry verticals, such as Finance, IT/ITES, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing, Analytics, and Consulting.
