VITEEE Counselling 2026: VIT Phase 3 choice-filling has started, and the seat allotment result will be declared on May 31. VITEEE 2026 phase 2 seat allotment result has been declared. The deadline to pay the balance fee is June 10. During phase-wise registration, a non-refundable fee of INR 5900 must be paid for choice-filling. Lastly, to confirm allotment, students must pay their tuition fees to complete their admission.

The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has started the VITEEE counselling 2026 on the official website. The VITEEE Counselling Process for branch allocation is based on the candidate’s All India Rank (AIR) in VITEEE 2026. The exam body will start the counselling process after the declaration of the VITEEE result 2026 and the VITEEE 2026 cut-off. Those candidates who will qualify will be eligible for VITEEE counselling 2026.

To be eligible for VITEEE 2026 counselling, students must register on the VIT website. Only registered candidates can attend the VITEEE Counselling rounds, where they will be allocated branches based on their rank, preferences, and seat availability.

Next, VIT will update the slot- and day-wise vacant seats. Seats will be allotted to candidates based on their VITEEE rank, course and college preferences, and the number of available seats. The branch and campus allotment is final and cannot be changed under any circumstances. Candidates must decide whether to accept the allotted branch before paying the fees. • Registration: To register for VITEEE Counselling 2026, candidates must first register online and then arrive at their counselling centre on time. They will be informed of their counselling schedule by SMS or email
• Document Verification: Once at the counselling centre, candidates must have their documents verified. Only candidates with successfully verified documents will be considered for further steps
• Seat Allotment: Next, VIT will update the slot- and day-wise vacant seats. Seats will be allotted to candidates based on their VITEEE rank, course and college preferences, and the number of available seats. VITEEE Counselling 2026: Guidelines for the Candidates

Candidates must carefully go through the following guidelines carefully to avoid any confusion during the VITEEE 2026 counselling process:

• Counselling dates and information will be posted on the official VITEEE website (vit.ac.in). Qualified candidates will also be notified via text message after the results are declared
• Counselling will be conducted through a single window for all courses offered by VIT University at all campuses
• Qualifying in VITEEE 2026 and attending the counselling process does not guarantee a seat
• Details of branches offered, seats available, and seats already filled will be displayed at the counselling centre to help candidates make their choices. Seats will be allotted based on availability
• If a candidate cannot attend counselling on the specified day and time, they may do so on a subsequent day after informing the authorities. However, they will have to choose from the courses available at that time
• The number of available seats for each branch will be updated on the VIT website as counselling proceeds
• If a candidate has not received their mark memo for the qualifying exam, they must sign an undertaking stating that if they fail, their seat will be surrendered
• Report to the counselling centre well in advance
• No change of date or time for counselling is permissible
• Students from the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana Intermediate Board of Education must submit their Pass Certificate Cum Memorandum of Marks at the time of admission
• Once enrolled in a course, a student is expected to complete it. They cannot withdraw from the university without informing the Registrar in writing. Otherwise, they will be liable to pay fees for the period their name remains on the rolls
• Candidates must report to classes within 7 days from the date of commencement of classes, failing which, their admission will be cancelled automatically, and fees will be forfeited
• Violation of any instruction can make the candidate ineligible for admission
