VITEEE Counselling 2024 (Ongoing): Documents Required, Fee Payment, Admission Process

VITEEE Counselling 2024 - The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is currently conducting the counselling process for VITEEE exam 2024. VITEEE Counselling choice filling for Phase 5 will start on June 20, 2024. Candidates will be able to fill in choices till June 21, 2024. As per the schedule released by the institute, the Phase 5 VITEEE seat allotment list will be released on June 23, 2024. The VITEEE Counselling Process for branch allocation is based on the candidate’s All India Rank (AIR) in VITEEE 2024. To be eligible for counselling, students must register on the VIT website. Only registered candidates can attend the VITEEE Counselling rounds, where they will be allocated branches based on their rank, preferences, and seat availability.

To register for VITEEE Counselling 2024, candidates must first register online and then arrive at their counselling centre on time. The branch and campus allotment is final and cannot be changed under any circumstances. Candidates must decide whether to accept the allotted branch before paying the fees. After confirming their seat with the counselling authority, candidates must confirm their seat by paying the course fees.

VITEEE 2024 Counselling Process

VITEEE 2024 Counselling: Guidelines for the Candidates

Candidates must carefully go through the following guidelines carefully to avoid any confusion during the VITEEE 2024 counselling process:

• Counselling dates and information will be posted on the official VITEEE website (vit.ac.in). Qualified candidates will also be notified via text message after results are declared
• Counselling will be conducted through a single window for all courses offered by VIT University at all campuses
• Qualifying in VITEEE 2024 and attending the counselling process does not guarantee a seat
• Details of branches offered, seats available, and seats already filled will be displayed at the counselling centre to help candidates make their choices. Seats will be allotted based on availability
• If a candidate cannot attend counselling on the specified day and time, they may do so on a subsequent day after informing the authorities. However, they will have to choose from the courses available at that time
• The number of available seats for each branch will be updated on the VIT website as counselling proceeds
• If a candidate has not received their mark memo for the qualifying exam, they must sign an undertaking stating that if they fail, their seat will be surrendered
• Report to the counselling centre well in advance
• No change of date or time for counselling is permissible
• Students from the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana Intermediate Board of Education must submit their Pass Certificate Cum Memorandum of Marks at the time of admission
• Once enrolled in a course, a student is expected to complete it. They cannot withdraw from the university without informing the Registrar in writing. Otherwise, they will be liable to pay fees for the period their name remains on the rolls
• Candidates must report to classes within 7 days from the date of commencement of classes, failing which, their admission will be cancelled automatically and fees will be forfeited
• Violation of any instruction can make the candidate ineligible for admission
