MHT CET Syllabus 2024: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released the syllabus for the MHT CET exam on its official website. The syllabus outlines the important topics & subtopics from where questions are asked in the examination. Candidates preparing for the MHT CET exam must be aware of the syllabus in order to prepare well for the exam.

The MHT CET preparation must be aligned with the syllabus of the exam. Aspirants must also solve MHT CET previous year question papers to get an idea of the types of questions asked in the examination. The MHT CET exam 2024 for PCM includes questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Candidates who are wishing to take admission to the pharmacy programme have to appear for Physics, Chemistry & Biology papers.

The syllabus for the MHT CET exam is based on Class XI & Class XII syllabus. The class XI syllabus is given a weightage of 20%, while the class XII syllabus is given a weightage of 80%.

Is there any negative marking in MHT CET?

No, there is no negative marking in MHT CET. No marks will be deducted for the incorrect response by the candidate.

Can I prepare for MHT CET by studying only the NCERT books?

Students may build a solid foundation for the MHT CET preparation by studying NCERT books. For more thorough preparation, it is advised that students additionally read other textbooks and study resources.

Is the MHT CET syllabus similar to that of JEE Main?
