Preparation of Rank List for Admission into Engineering Courses

• Equal weightage of 50:50 shall be given to the score obtained in the Engineering Entrance Examination (Paper I & Paper II put together), and the marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure 
• In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered
• In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered
• In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science, and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered
• The final year marks of the qualifying exam of each subject (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology) of the students who have passed the subject will be transformed out of 100
• The marks of the three subjects will then be computed out of 300 after effecting standardization in each subject

Preparation of Rank List for Admission into B. Arch Course

• Equal weightage to the score obtained by the candidate in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and marks obtained in the qualifying examination 
• Marks obtained by the candidate in the NATA out of 200 will be added to the total marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying exam computed out of 200
• The Rank list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained out of 400

Preparation of Rank List for Admission into Ayurveda course

• A separate rank list will be prepared based on the score obtained by the candidate in NEET-UG 2024 subject to the Nativity and relevant qualifying criteria
• For candidates who have taken Sanskrit as their second language in Higher Secondary or equivalent exam, additional 8 marks will be added to the total marks secured by them in the NEET-UG 2024 for the preparation of the rank list

Preparation of Rank List for Admission into B.Pharm Course

Rank list will be prepared by the CEE on the basis of index marks which will be calculated as follows:

• Score obtained by the candidate in Chemistry in Paper-I will be multiplied by 2.25 and added to the Physics score obtained from the Paper-I 
• The sum so obtained will be multiplied by a factor 2/3 to calculate the index mark for ranking the candidates for B. Pharm course
• The maximum index score will be 480

Tie-breaking Policy for Preparation of Engineering Rank List

• In case of a tie, the candidate with higher marks in Maths in the entrance exam will be given a higher rank
• If the tie still exists, the candidate with higher marks in Physics in the entrance exam will be given a higher rank
• If there is still a tie, the candidate with higher standardized marks in Maths in the final year of the qualifying exam will be given a higher rank
• If the tie still persists, the candidate with higher standardized marks in Physics in the final year of the qualifying exam will be given a higher rank
• If there is still a tie, the candidate who is older in age will be given a higher ranking

Qualifying Criteria

Engineering Rank List

• Candidate has to score a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II of KEAM entrance exam
• No minimum marks required for SC/ST candidates

Rank list for MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BSMS/BUMS 

• Candidate must obtain a minimum of marks at 50th percentile in NEET-UG 2024
• For SC/ST/SEBC candidates, the minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile
• For the PwD category, the minimum marks shall be at 45th percentile for unreserved category and 40th percentile for SC/ST/SEBC category

Rank List for Agriculture/Forestry/ Co-operation & Banking/Climate Change & Environmental Science/ B.Tech Biotechnology (under KAU)/Veterinary/Fisheries 

• Candidate must score a minimum of 20 marks in the NEET-UG 2024 exam
• No minimum marks required for SC/ST candidates

Architecture Rank List

• Candidate must meet the KEAM academic eligibility criteria for admission into architecture course
• Candidate must also qualify NATA 2024 exam on or before June 30, 2024

B.Pharm Rank List

• Candidate must score a least 10 marks out of the index of 480
• No minimum index marks required for SC/ST candidates
