JCECE 2024 Counselling: Dates, Seat Allotment, Process, Fees, Admission Process

JCECE Counselling 2024 Important Dates: The counseling for the JCECE exam 2024 will be conducted by the JCECEB after the declaration of the JCECE results. The conducting body will release the schedule for the counselling after the conclusion of the JCECE exam process. The counseling is expected to be held in August, 2024 tentatively, although there is no official date yet.

The counselling schedule will be released on the official website of the conducting body jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. The complete counselling process will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates who did not get a seat in JCECE Seat Allotment for Round 1 will be eligible for Round 2 Counselling. In JCECE 2024 Counselling for Round 2, candidates can upgrade their choices.

JCECE Counselling 2024 Procedure

Candidates participating in the counseling process need to fill in the counseling application form and pay the application fees. The step-by-step guide is given below for the same:

JCECE Counseling Round 1

• After the declaration of JCECE Results, eligible candidates will be called for the first round of counselling based on merit ranking.
• The round of counselling allows candidates to choose their preferred institute.
• Following scrutiny of the required original certificates/ documents and fulfilment of the laid eligibility criteria, candidates are allocated seats.

JCECE  Counseling  Round 2

• This round is held in case some seats remain vacant after the first round of counselling.
• Candidates who will be already allocated seats in the first round of counselling can also participate in upgrading their allotted college.
• To confirm admission, students are required to pay the seat acceptance fee of INR 1,000.

The following documents have to be uploaded by the candidates for the successful completion of the counselling process:

• Admit card, Mark sheet, Passing certificate of Class 12.

• Admit card, Mark sheet, Passing certificate of Class 10.

• Local Resident Certificate of Jharkhand state.

• Caste Certificate issued by SDO of Jharkhand state.

• 1 Passport size photograph

JCECE 2024 Counselling: Eligibility for Admission 

Eligibility for admission for JCECE  2024 counselling is as follows:

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Candidate should belong to the State of Jharkhand 
• Candidates should have passed the 12th Examination conducted by any recognized board.
• Candidates should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• Candidate must be between  17-25 years on or before December 31, 2024. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/STOBC category candidates.
