JCECE 2024: Registration (Started), Date, Syllabus, Pattern, Admit Card, Cut Off

JCECE Exam 2024 Date:  The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, Jharkhand will conduct the JCECE  exam on April 28, 2024. The registrations for this year have been started and the last date to apply is April 1, 2024. JCECE Application form 2024 is available in online mode on the official website jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in

JCECE admit cards will be released by the conducting body and are expected to be released by mid April. Candidates appearing in the JCECE exam 2024 must produce the JCECE Hall ticket in the exam hall without fail or else the candidates won't be allowed to take the exam.

Students who have successfully registered for the exam can download their admit cards using their login credentials. The examination is conducted in offline mode. The question paper of JCECE is a mixture of topics from subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology from class 12th.

The exam will have a total of 150 questions and the total duration of the exam will be 2.30 hours. Candidates preparing must be well versed with the pattern of the JCECE exam for which it is advised to solve the Previous Year's Questions.

What is the JCECE Exam 2024?

The JCECE exam is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The examination is conducted for eligible candidates aspiring to get admitted into one of the  BTech and B.sc programs. The examination is conducted for admission to only Jharkhand-based colleges.

JCECE Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates wishing to appear for the JCECE exam must meet the eligibility criteria. Students must meet the eligibility criteria for the exam selection process. Hence, applicants must verify their eligibility before applying for the exam. Interested applicants can check the eligibility criteria below:

•  You must be an Indian citizen and should be a local/ permanent resident of Jharkhand.
• Candidates must have passed the 12th class from any recognized board with subjects Physics, chemistry, and mathematics/ Biology
• You must be of age between 17 to 22 by July 1, 2024. 
• For B.V.Sc & A.H, you must be between 17 years of age to 25 years by December 31, 2024. SC/ST/OBC has given 5 year relaxation for the age limit factor for all the courses.

JCECE Application Form 2024

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, has released the application form on its official website. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form. To complete the application form, students must correctly fill out personal and academic details, upload relevant documents, and pay the application fee. The last date to apply is April 1, 2024.

Following the completion of the registration process, candidates are required to remit the application fee for JCECE 2024.

JCECE Admit Card 2024

The conducting body has not released any official dates regarding the release of the admit card. Only candidates who successfully fill out the application form will receive the admit card. The admit card can be downloaded using the registration number and date of birth. Students must carry their admit card to the examination centre failing which they will not be allowed to take the examination. Aspirants must also check the details mentioned on the admit card. 

JCECE Exam Pattern 2024

Candidates preparing for the JCECE exam must know the exam pattern. Understanding exam patterns helps candidates get an idea of the number of questions asked in the exam, the duration of the exam, and the marking scheme. JCECE has negative marking if a candidate chooses the correct answer, they get one mark and ¼ mark will get deducted for each incorrect answer

JCECE Syllabus 2024

Candidates must understand the syllabus for preparing in a more streamlined way. The syllabus outlines important topics and subtopics from where questions are asked in the examination. The JCECE syllabus includes subjects like Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology for admission to engineering & B.sc programs. To cover the syllabus comprehensively, candidates can start from Class XI & Class XII NCERT books. Once done with the NCERT books, candidates can move to the standard books.

JCECE Previous Year Question Papers

Apart from completing the syllabus from NCERT & standard books, aspirants must also practice previous year question papers. This allows them to assess their strengths and weaknesses and strategize their preparation accordingly. 

JCECE Result 2024

The JCECE result is released by the conducting authority on its official website after the successful conclusion of the exam.JCECE conducting authorities will announce the result within one month of successful completion of exams.After the release of the result, a merit list will be released for different categories and colleges. Notifications for the same will be released soon after the examination.

JCECE Counselling 2024

After a candidate passes the exam, JCECE counseling is held. Applicants who qualify for the counseling round must sign up on the website. They are contacted for the document verification and choice filling and locking procedure once they register. Selected applicants must report to the assigned college when the seat allocation results are released. It must be noted that admission is confirmed only after the candidate pays the admission fee.
