COMEDK Counselling 2026: Registration, Seat Allotment, Documents Verification

Q: What is COMEDK Counselling fees?

The COMEDK Counselling fee is INR 5000 as a part of the tuition fee. Students who will accept seat in COMEDK Round 3 seat allotment will have to pay a sum of INR 50,000 to confirm their seat.

COMEDK Counselling 2026 dates will be released by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka after the declaration of the result. The schedule is generally made available on the official COMEDK website.

COMEDK Counselling Date 2026 - The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka releases the COMEDK UGET 2026 Counselling date after the result is declared. Candidates who qualify the COMEDK exam 2026 are only eligible to participate in the counselling round. There will be three rounds of COMEDK Counselling 2026.

According to the previous year of 2025, the online registration for COMEDK counselling and document upload for round 1 was started on June 9, 2025 at 4 PM. The last date to register for COMEDK Round 1 counselling and uploading documents for verification was June 30, 2025 till 2 PM. The seat allotment of round 1 COMEDK 2025 counselling was released on July 28, 2025. The COMEDK 2025 round 2 choice filling was conducted from August 7 to 8, 2025. The reporting to college for COMEDK 2025 round 2 was concluded on August 4, 2025.

After each round of counselling, COMEDK Cutoff 2026 is released by participating colleges. The cut off for each college, course, and category will vary due to varying factors. The counselling process of COMEDK 2026 will consists of registration, choice filling, seat allotment and document verification. COMEDK UGET counselling 2026 will be conducted online only. Applicants would first be required to complete the COMEDK counselling registration 2026 using their personal details.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka generally releases the official notification after the COMEDK result is announced. The counselling notification have details on dates, eligibility, process, seat allotment, and self reporting to the allotted college.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka releases the detailed COMEDK UGET notification on its official website. Along with the registration process, students will be able to upload the documents as well. The full counselling schedule will also be released on the website. The Consortium starts with the counselling process soon after the declaration of results. Candidates can check their scorecard on the official website - comedk.org.

COMEDK Counselling 2026

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka conducts COMEDK UGET 2026 counselling in online mode. The counselling for COMEDK UGET is conducted for candidates who qualify the exam. The authorities conduct COMEDK UGET counselling 2026 separately for engineering and architecture programs. For B.Arch admission, students will be called for COMEDK counselling based on the NATA scores.

There will be a total of 3 rounds in COMEDK UGET counselling. Additional rounds may be conducted if the seats remain vacant. The counselling is conducted for admission to engineering and architecture programs at the undergraduate level. More than 150 colleges participate in the counselling round of COMEDK UGET. Last year, approximately 18,400 seats were allotted to students who wish to take admission to engineering programs.

COMEDK seat allotment result is released after each round of counselling. Candidates will be able to check the COMEDK seat allotment result after the conclusion of each round of counselling. They would have options to accept, reject, withdraw, and upgrade their seat. However, it must be noted that after the conclusion of 3 rounds, participants are not allowed to cancel or withdraw/reject their seats.

COMEDK Counselling 2026 - Steps to Apply

STEP 1A	Login to the COMEDK Counselling portal using application number and password
STEP 1B	Click on the “Counselling Registration” Tab
STEP 1C	Verify the details and pay the registration fee of INR 2000 (non-refundable)
STEP 1D	In case of unsuccessful payment- reinitiate payment again by going to STEP 1A.
STEP 1E	Go back to the application form tab after successful payment
STEP 1F	Click on the Document Upload Tab. (This tab will be visible only after registration is completed).
STEP 1G	Upload scanned copy of all required documents
STEP 1H	Click on each document and recheck if the document uploaded by you is clear. In case the document uploaded is unclear, please upload it again in the respective section
STEP 1I	Check your application form and email to know the verification status of your uploaded documents.
