BITSAT Pattern 2023: BITSAT or Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test is an exam that grants admission into B.E, B.Pharm, and M.Sc courses in the BITS campuses. BITSAT Pattern 2023: Highlights
Some highlights of the BITSAT exam pattern include-
- Candidates planning to pursue BITS' engineering programs will have to attempt questions in physics, chemistry, math, English, and logical reasoning. Whereas, students interested in pharmacy programs will need to answer questions in physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, English, and Logical Reasoning.
- Candidates who finish 130 questions in the allotted three hours will have an opportunity to attempt 12 more questions.
- Aspirants will receive their BITSAT score immediately after the exam is completed. Although, the official result and scorecard will be declared a few days after the exam has been conducted.
- The BITSAT exam will be conducted in two sessions. Applicants who are not content with their performance in session 1 can register for session 2 to attempt the test again. The better scores will be considered at the time of the counselling. Although, students who have not taken the exam in session 1 will not be permitted to attempt the session 2 test.
- Each candidate receives a separate set of questions since the questions in the BITSAT paper are chosen at random from a sizable question bank.
- At any time, candidates are free to alter their responses to a question. Also, Negative marking will take place for wrong answers.
- Since there is no sectional time limit for BITSAT 2023, candidates may attempt any section first according to their personal preference.

BITSAT Pattern 2023: Marking Scheme
The past years’ exams were conducted with a maximum of 450 marks, yet, BITSAT 2022 witnessed the maximum marks of 390. For the BITSAT exam in 2023, the maximum mark will remain to be 390. It is essential for students to understand that they will be awarded +3 with every correct answer and a deduction of -1 will be executed for every incorrect answer.
