BIMTECH Greater Noida: Ranking, Course, Fees, Admission & Placements

BIMTECH (Birla Institute of Management Technology) Greater Noida, established in 1988, is a fully residential campus in Delhi NCR. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023, BIMTECH (Birla Institute of Management Technology) Greater Noida has been ranked 48th among management institutes across India. The institute has been graded ‘A+’ by NAAC.

The flagship course offered by BIMTECH Greater Noida is PGDM (Postgraduate Diploma in Management). The course is offered in four different areas of specialisation- PGDM (General), PGDM (International Business), PGDM (Insurance Business Management), and PGDM (Retail Management). All four PGDM programmes have equivalence to an MBA degree, as recognised by AIU. To be eligible for this programme, a candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks and a valid score in any of the following aptitude tests- CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT.

BIMTECH has successfully conducted the placements for 2023-24. In a press release, the intitute released the placements records for this year. The highest package stood at INR 24.43 LPA by the company, Landmark Group. The institute recorded placement percentage of 97.07% and 464 students were placed both internationally and nationally. More than 145 companies visited the campus with the average package of INR 11.10 LPA. The top recruiters for this year were Landmark Group (Homecentre), Blackrock, EY India, Deloitte, Wipro Ltd., KPMG, Infosys, Make My Trip (MMT) and SBI General Insurance Co. Ltd.

BIMTECH Greater Noida PGDM Admission 2024

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a comprehensive two-year full-time residential program, regarded as an MBA equivalent. It holds approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

• To be eligible for this programme, a candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks.

1. SHRIYUT B K BIRLA ADMISSION SCHOLARSHIP

• Scholarships offered to all eligible students.
• Criteria: Minimum 85%ile in CAT / XAT / GMAT.
• Amount: Rs. 2.00 lakhs.
• Payment: Partial waiver of the 2nd, 3rd & 4th tuition fee installments.

2. LATE G.D BIRLA ACADEMIC MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

• Eligibility: Consistent high performance (first two positions) in all courses.
• Rewards for PGDM, PGDM(IB), PGDM(RM), and PDM(IBM) programs.
• Total Outlay: 5,25,000 for each term, up to 4 terms.

3. MADHURI & JAGDISH SHETH ENDOWMENT AWARDS

• Two scholarships with a total endowment of Rs. 10,00,000.

4. JAGDISH N SHETH AWARD FOR BEST PH.D THESIS

• Amount: Rs. 50,000.

• Amount: Rs. 50,000.
• Eligibility: Based on CGPA for 1st & 2nd year up to the 6th Term.

6. LATE SARALA BIRLA AWARD FOR FEMALE DOCTORAL STUDENTS

• Rs. 100,000 scholarship for 3 consecutive years.

7. GOLD MEDALS AND SPECIAL MEDALS

• Gold Medals for academic toppers.
• Gold Medals for all-round performance (one male, one female).

BIMTECH Greater Noida PGDM Placements 2024

BIMTECH had an exceptional placement result for the year 2023-24. The placement percentage stood at 97.07% for the batch 2022-24. The highest package was INR 24.43 LPA and the average package offered was INR 11.10 LPA. More than 145 companies including 39 new organisations  visited the campus. A total of 464 students were placed  with diverse roles such as Senior Analyst, Business Analyst, Area Manager, Consultant, Management Trainee, Digital Demand Analyst, Research Associate, Associate Solution Advisor, Deputy Manager and Business Development Manager. 

Several prominent companies such as Landmark Group (Homecentre), Blackrock, EY India, Deloitte, Wipro Ltd., KPMG, Infosys, Make My Trip (MMT), and SBI General Insurance Co. BIMTECH's 2023 placement season had also achieved outstanding success, ensuring 100% placement for the 367 students pursuing PGDM courses from the 2021-23 batch in record time. Over 92 prominent organizations participated, spanning diverse sectors such as Consultancy, Financial Services, FMCG/FMCD, IT & ITeS, and more. Notably, BFSI, IT & ITeS, and Consulting sectors led the recruitment drive, accounting for 75% of total offers. Impressively, 30% of the participating companies were new recruiters at BIMTECH, expanding opportunities in areas like Banking & Finance, Retail, and Human Resources. Students received offers in fields like Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain & Operations, Retail, and Insurance. With a 100% placement record, the average salary for the top 10% of students stood at INR 15.86 LPA, while the top 50% secured an average of INR 12.80 LPA.
