TS ECET Exam 2026 - The Telangana State Council of Higher Education will soon release the TS ECET Exam Dates 2026 on its official website. - ecet.tgche.ac.in. As per the past trends, the TS ECET exam will likely be conducted in May 2026. The complete schedule will be released by TSCHE along with the notification. TS ECET 2026 notification will be released next year in March 2026. Along with the notification, TS ECET application form 2026 will also be released for eligible candidates. To be eligible for the TS ECET exam 2026, candidates must have obtained a Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana, or any other Diploma recognized by the Government of Telangana as equivalent there to for admission into the relevant B.E. / B.Tech. / B. Pharmacy Courses corresponding to the Diploma. Also, candidates can apply for the TS ECET exam, if they have passed the 3 - year B.Sc. Degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the group combination.

TSCHE will release the TS ECET syllabus and exam pattern along with the official notice. Most likely, the TS ECET exam pattern and syllabus will remain the same as the previous year. Any changes to the syllabus and pattern for the TS ECET exam will be updated here. TS ECET exam pattern & syllabus differ with respect to the course candidates have applied for. For admission to Diploma course through TS ECET, there will be a total of 200 questions divided between four sections - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering Paper. The Engineering paper section consitutes the highest number of questions which is 100. While, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry have 50 questions, 25 questions, and 25 questions, respectively.

The TS ECET is a state-level entrance exam conducted for Diploma holders and B.Sc. Mathematics degree holders to gain second year lateral entry into B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharm courses. Osmania University (on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education) will be conducting the TS ECET 2026 exam.

Students who pass the entrance exam have to appear for the TS ECET 2026 counselling for admission to second year of B.E, B.Tech and B.Pharma. They must note that they will be allotted college and course based on the rank obtained by them in the TS ECET exam 2026

TS ECET Eligibility Criteria 2026

In order to apply for the TS ECET 2026 examination, candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirements mentioned below.

Nationality and Domicile

• Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
• A candidate should belong to the State of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down by the state government.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates should possess a Diploma in Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh (or its equivalent) for admission into the relevant BE / BTech/ BPharmacy Courses.

• Candidates should have a 3-year BSc Degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the group combination from a recognized University in Telangana/Andhra Pradesh or its equivalent for entry into relevant courses.
• Candidates who are pursuing a Diploma course under the sandwich pattern are eligible for entry into the relevant BE/BTech/BPharmacy courses provided they have completed the practical training for the sandwich course before the close of counselling for entry into the relevant course.
• Candidates should have passed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy/ BSc (Mathematics) Degree with at least 45% marks (40% in case of Reserved category candidates) for entry into relevant courses.

Registered candidates can download the TS ECET Hall Ticket 2026 from the official website. The TS ECET admit card is an important document that the candidates must carry on the day of examination. TS ECET Cutoff 2026

The TS ECET cutoff is published on the official website after the declaration of the results. All the candidates seeking admission through the TS ECET 2026 are required to secure the minimum qualifying marks, that is, a minimum aggregate of 25% marks (50 marks out of 200) in the four subjects.
