HPCET Exam 2025 is scheduled to be held on May 10, 2025 by the authority for different courses i.e., B. Tech. (Direct Entry), B. Pharmacy (Direct Entry) courses, M.Sc. Physics course, MBA, MBA (T&HM), MCA & B.Sc. (HM & CT)/BHMCT courses and the examination date for M.Sc. Environment Sciences course is May 11, 2025. The HPCET exam conducting body also starts registration for the HPCET 2025 exam from January 31, 2025. Candidates can apply by filling the online application form available on himtu.ac.in, before the specified deadline.
According to the official notification, the last date to fill the HPCET application form is April 18, 2025. The eligibility criteria for appearing in HPCET 2025 vary depending on the course. However, the basic requirements include passing the 10+2 examination with at least 45% aggregate marks in the relevant subjects. For admission to master's programs, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree of at least 3 years' duration with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
Those candidates who successfully register them for the exam will be able to download their HPCET 2025 admit card by using their login credentials. An admit card is the important document which every candidate needs to carry along with them to the examination center. Without an admit card no candidate will be allowed to give the examination.

HPCET 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility for appearing in HPCET is different for undergraduate and postgraduate students who are applying for various programs. Candidates can refer to the table below for detailed information about HPCET Eligibility Criteria 2025.
Note: HPTU allows candidates who are appearing for their final 10+2 exam or bachelor degree exam in March/April of 2025 to sit for HPCET 2025.
HPTU conducts the application process for HPCET online via himtu.ac.in and it consists of registration, form filling, payment of application fee and uploading of documents for verification. The HPCET Application Form 2025 has been released, candidates can find the steps to fill the form below.
- Visit himtu.ac.in and click on the ‘Admissions’ tab. Upon clicking, go to the ‘Application Form HPCET 2025’.
- A new window will open with the HPCET Application Form in view. Start by filling out personal information and academic details.
- Upload all necessary documents such as scanned copies of your signature and a recent passport size photograph in the prescribed format.
- After providing all the required details and reviewing the form, pay the application fee to complete the HPCET Registration 2025.
- Save the submitted form for future reference.

HPCET 2025: Admit Card
Candidates can download the HPCET e-Admit Card from the University website, himtu.ac.in by entering their application form number or date of birth. The hall ticket will only be issued to applicants who successfully completed the HPCET registration process. A printed copy of the e-admit card (on A-4 size paper) is mandatory for entry to the exam, along with a valid ID proof like Aadhaar.
The e-admit card, signed by the Controller of Examinations, will contain the admit card number, candidate’s photograph, exam centre address, and exam date. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately to the Controller of Examinations.
Steps to Check HPCET Hall Ticket 2025
Once the registration is successfully completed then the authority will also release candidates HPCET admit card 2025. Check the below given steps to download admit card;

HPCET 2025: Exam Pattern
HPTU conducts HPCET in offline mode. It is an objective MCQ type test that will be conducted in English. There will be a total of 150 questions in the undergraduate paper whereas the postgraduate paper consists of 100 questions. Candidates appearing for the UG paper will get 3 hours 15 minutes for completing the exam and the time duration for PG candidates is 2 hours. It’s important to remember that for every correct answer, candidates will be rewarded with 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answers.
