CG PET Exam date has been declared by the authority. The CG PET 2025 exam will be conducted on May 8, 2025. The CG PET registration will likely start in March 2025. What is the CG PET Exam 2025?

The CG PET exam is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). The examination is conducted for eligible candidates aspiring to get admitted into one of the undergraduate engineering courses in Chhattisgarh state. CG PET Application Form 2025

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) will release the application form on its official website. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form. To complete the application form, students must correctly fill out personal and academic details, upload relevant documents, and pay the application fee.

CG PET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check below the eligibility criteria before they apply for the CG PET 2025 exam:

• Candidates must be a citizen of India
• Candidates must not be less than 17 years of age, while the upper age limit is 30 years.
•  Candidate must belong to the State of Chattisgarh
• Candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in each of the subjects in their Class 10+2 or equivalent.
• For BTech Biotechnology, aspirants should have studied Biology instead of Maths in their 10 + 2.

CG PET Admit Card 2025

The CG PET admit card will be released by the conducting body. The official dates for the release of the CG PET admit card have not yet been released by the conducting body but they are expected to be released by May 2025 tentatively. Only candidates who successfully fill out the application form will receive the admit card. The admit card can be downloaded using the registration number and date of birth. Students must carry their admit card to the examination centre failing which they will not be allowed to take the examination. 

CG PET Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates preparing for the CG PET exam must know the exam pattern. Understanding exam patterns helps candidates get an idea of the number of questions asked in the exam, the duration of the exam, and the marking scheme.

CG PET Syllabus 2025

The authority has released the CG PET syllabus 2025 on its official website. Aspirants must note that the syllabus for CG PET exam will be similar to the 12th standard syllabus level. The syllabus involves topics from Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. The CG PET 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 8, 2025. The examination involves 150 multiple choice based questions. 

The CG PET exam consists of three subjects - Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics and each subject contains 50 marks. For every correct answer authority will give 1 mark to candidates and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

CG PET answer keys will be released by the conducting body after the successful compilation of the exam. The CG PET answer key will be released in online mode so that the candidates can cross-check the answers marked in the exam and get an idea of the marks they can expect in the exam. After a candidate passes the exam, CG PET counseling is held. The authorities of DTE Raipur will conduct the CG PET counseling 2025 process online. Applicants who qualify for the counseling round must log in on the website. They are contacted for the document verification and choice filling and locking procedure once they register. It must be noted that admission is confirmed only after the candidate pays the admission fee.
