Assam CEE 2026: The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) will soon release the Assam Combined Entrance Examination Dates 2026 on its official website.- astu.ac.in. As per the historical trends, the Assam CEE exam will likely be conducted in April 2026. The entire schedule will be released by ASTU along with the notification. Assam CEE 2026 notification will be released next year in February 2026. Assam CEE application form 2026 will also be released for the eligible candidates along with the notification. To be eligible for the Assam CEE exam 2026, the candidates must pass the (10+2) qualifying exam in one sitting, without receiving any grace marks, and must pass both the theory and practical portion of the required (10+2) subjects and courses also candidates must receive atleast 45% in the qualification exam (10+2) in the course taken collectively, or candidates who have earned 45% of the possible points in the State Council for Technical Education, Assam's 3-year diploma in engineering and technology.

ASTU will release the Assam CEE syllabus and exam pattern along with the official notice. Most likely, the Assam CEE exam pattern and syllabus will remain the same as the previous year. Any changes made to the syllabus and pattern for the Assam CEE exam will be updated here. Assam CEE exam pattern & syllabus will differ with respect to the course candidates have applied for. For admission through Assam CEE, there will be a total of 120 questions which are divided into three sections - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry. Each sections consist of equal number of questions that is mathematics ave 40 questions, followed by 40 questions in physics and lastly 40 questions in chemistry. The authorities will conduct the Assam CEE exam 2026 in pen and paper mode.

Assam CEE 2026 Application Form

To apply for Assam CEE, eligible candidates can fill out the application form by visiting the official website and entering the necessary details. After the candidates have filled out the Assam CEE application form, they are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 1350. The registration for the Assam CEE 2026 is likely to be commenced in February 2026.  Candidates can follow the steps provided below to register:

Step 2: On the homepage, click on 'CEE 2026 Online Application'. The registration portal will be displayed on the screen.

Step 3: Click on 'Register now'. Provide the necessary details including name, mobile number, email address, and password to register.

Step 4: Your login credentials will be generated and sent to your registered email address. Login using these credentials. The application form will be displayed on the screen

Step 5: Fill the application form carefully and upload the required documents in the specified format. 

Step 6: Pay the requisite fees to submit your application form. 

Step 7: Save the submitted application form to your device for future reference.

Assam CEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for Assam CEE 2026, the following eligibility criteria must be fulfilled:

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• The candidate must be a permanent citizen of Assam.
• The candidate must have qualified 10+2 in a single attempt with a minimum of 45% marks ( 40% in case of Reserved category students) (OR) Candidate must have passed a 3 year Diploma degree in Engineering and Technology under State Council for Technical Education, Assam with 45% marks (40% in case of  reserved category).
• The lower age limit to apply for the Assam CEE exam is 17 years while the upper age limit is 21 years.
• General category candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• Candidates should have qualified Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in 10+2.

Assam CEE 2026 Syllabus

The Assam CEE 2026 syllabus will be based on the syllabus of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) that is class 12th. The candidates will have to prepare various topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The Assam CEE syllabus will help the students to understand the pattern of the exam and accordingly formulate strategies and ace the exam.

The Assam CEE admit card will be released by the exam conducting body on the official website - astu.ac.in. The candidates who will successfully registered for the exam can download the Assam CEE admit card. The Assam CEE admit card contains essential details including the address of exam centre, candidate’s details and important guidelines for the exam day.

Assam CEE 2026 Answer Key

The conducting body releases the Assam CEE answer key after the completion of the exam. The candidates can also raise objections against the Assam CEE answer key within the specified time. It must be noted that the candidates will have to pay Rs 300 per question to submit their challenges. Last year, the answer key was released on the same day of the exam, that is, April 27, 2025

The Assam CEE result is declared in online mode and the merit list is created on the basis of the Assam CEE result. Previous year, the results were released on May 15, 2025

Assam CEE 2026 Counselling

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) announces the Assam CEE counselling dates for all qualified candidates in online mode. During the counselling process, candidates can register and indicate their desired college and course preferences. The Assam CEE seat allocation results will be made available online. 

Seat allotments will be based on factors such as candidate ranking, preferences, and seat availability. After being allocated a seat, candidates must confirm it by fulfilling the required fee payment and document verification.
