The AEEE Preparation requires a long and regular study plan. Candidates aspiring to take admission in various B.Tech courses across the seven campuses of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeeth must begin their exam preparation as early as possible. The AEEE syllabus is structured to test the understanding of fundamental concepts, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking of the candidates. They must have a solid grasp of both theoretical knowledge and practical application in all three subjects to succeed in the examination.

Understand the Exam Pattern - AEEE aspirants must understand the exam pattern before starting their preparation process. They should take a note of the number of questions from each of the subjects, exam duration, marking scheme, negative marking etc.

Detailed Syllabus - Download the detailed syllabus from the AEEE 2025 official notification. The AEEE syllabus is based on the Class 11 and Class 12 NCERT curriculum. The AEEE Physics section requires a deep understanding of fundamental concepts and strong problem-solving skills. For chemistry, the syllabus is designed to test both theoretical knowledge and practical application. For AEEE Mathematics, consistent revision and understanding the theory behind formulas and their applications will help solidify the mathematical foundation for the exam.

Formulate a Timetable and Study Plan - Before starting the preparation process, AEEE aspirants must prepare a timetable which includes daily, weekly and monthly plans. Appropriate time for revision should also be allocated. Make sure to allot adequate time for all the subjects and topics.

Get the Right Study material - Don’t start your preparation with any resources. Invest time to research the most relevant books, PDFs, notes, videos and practice papers. Class 11 and 12 NCERT Books are the most important books for the engineering entrance exam. Subject-wise important supplementary books are as follows:

  • Physics: "Concepts of Physics" by H.C. Verma
  • Chemistry: NCERT Textbooks, "Physical Chemistry" by O.P. Tandon
  • Mathematics: "IIT Mathematics" by M.L. Khanna

Practice with Mock Tests and Previous Year Question Papers - Solving previous year’s AEEE question papers and taking mock tests will help in familiarizing yourself with the exam’s format and timing. The papers also help the candidates to understand the exam pattern and difficulty level.

Time Management in the Exam - The AEEE examination has 100 questions to be attempted in 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. Practice solving questions in a timed environment to build speed and accuracy. Solving previous year’s AEEE question papers and taking mock tests helps in this.

Stay Healthy - AEEE preparation is a long process. Students often neglect their physical and mental health during preparation. Adequate food, water and rest is mandatory in the exam preparation process. Regular breaks and physical activity is very important during preparations.
