AEEE Syllabus 2025: Check latest Syallabus for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; Preparation Tips

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has released the detailed notification for the AEEE 2025 examination. The notification contains the latest syllabus of the entrance examination. The questions in the AEEE exam are asked from four sections, namely, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. It is based on the Class 11 and 12 curriculum. Candidates applying for the examination can check the syllabus for each of the subjects in detail from the official AEEE notification.

Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) is an entrance examination conducted by the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admission to the B.Tech courses offered across its various campuses. There are 7 engineering campuses under Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, offering B.Tech programmes. They are in the cities of Amravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad and Nagercoil. 

The AEEE examination has 100 questions to be attempted within 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. There are 40 questions from Mathematics, 30 from Physics, 25 from Chemistry and the rest 5 from English. Each correct answer is of 3 marks and 1 negative mark for the wrong answers. The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at various centres in selected cities. 

AEEE Syllabus 2025

AEEE syllabus for the examination year 2025 has been released on the official website of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Candidates appearing for the examination must check the detailed syllabus. The syllabus for the AEEE has three major subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. A few questions in the examination are also to assess candidates' knowledge in English language. In Physics, the exam covers topics such as Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Optics, Thermodynamics, and Modern Physics. For Chemistry, main topics are Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Chemical Bonding. AEEE Chemistry syllabus can be divided into three main branches: Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry. In Organic Chemistry, important topics include the structure, properties, and reactions of different organic compounds, along with mechanisms of reactions like substitution, addition, and elimination. The syllabus for the AEEE Mathematics is entirely based on the NCERT Class 11 and 12 math. The main topics are Algebra, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, Probability, and Vectors. In Algebra, the main focus should be on quadratic equations, sequences and series, and complex numbers. For Calculus, it's essential to understand differentiation, integration, limits, and their applications. In Coordinate Geometry, practice problems related to straight lines, circles, conic sections, and three-dimensional geometry. The AEEE English syllabus is designed to test candidates' proficiency in reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills. In terms of grammar, practice key areas like tenses, sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, active and passive voice, and direct and indirect speech. For vocabulary, focus on learning new words, their meanings, and usage in context, and practice antonyms, synonyms, and word analogies. Additionally, work on improving your writing skills by practicing short essays, letter writing, and précis writing. AEEE Preparation 2025

The AEEE Preparation requires a long and regular study plan. Candidates aspiring to take admission in various B.Tech courses across the seven campuses of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeeth must begin their exam preparation as early as possible.
