UGC NET Syllabus 2024: UGC NET exam 2024 is set to take place To prepare for the exam, candidates must be well-versed with the UGC NET syllabus for paper 1 and paper 2. UGC NET syllabus will help the candidate to secure their desired UGC NET Results 2024. UGC NET Exam Syllabus Paper 2

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2024

The National Testing Agency conducts the UGC NET exam and the paper is conducted in the CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. The first step of the candidate towards preparation for the exam is knowing the UGC NET exam pattern thoroughly. Students can download the exam pattern from the official website of the UGC.

The UGC NET paper 1 will be common for all the candidates who are appearing for the exam, whereas paper 2 will be based on the subject that the candidate has selected. While the UGC NET paper 1 will consist of 100 marks, paper 2 will contain 200 marks. Which makes the total mark 300.

Important Points:

2 marks will be given for each correct answer.
The exam does not have negative marking for incorrect answers
Students will get no marks for the question unanswered or marked for review.
Students are required to answer all the questions in the UGC NET exam
If during the key challenge, any question is found to be wrong, then the student who has attempted the question and selected the right answer will be given the marks.
