HTET Application Form 2026: Dates, Steps to Apply, Application Fees

HTET Registration 2026: The Board of Secondary Education, Haryana (BSEH) has extended the HTET 2026 application window. Now candidates can apply for the HTET exam 2026 till today, January 5, 2026 through the official website - bseh.org. Once the HTET registration process is over, BSEH the exam conducting body of HTET will open an application correction window. BSEH released the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) application form 2026 online along with the official notification on December 24, 2025. Candidates must fill the application form within the stipulated time. The HTET 2026 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held on January 17 and 18, 2026. 

Prior to filling the form, candidates must check the HTET eligibility criteria 2026. After ensuring that they meet the specified eligibility requirements, candidates can fill the application form by entering the basic information. Candidates who successfully complete the application process will be eligible to get their HTET admit card 2026. The hall ticket is an essential document. Without the hall ticket, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Since the HTET 2026 Exam has three levels - level 1, 2 and 3, candidates have to select the level they are appearing for while filling the application form.

HTET Application Form 2026: Steps to register

Candidates can follow the given steps to fill the application form for HTET exam 2026:

Step 1: Fill out the HTET Registration 2026 Form 

• Candidates have to visit the official website of BSEH
• On the homepage, locate the link to register for HTET exam 2026. However, users need to first select their exam level - TGT/PGT/PRT
• Once selected, look for the link that reads 'online application' and click on that 
• Now, fill in all the required details in order to complete the registration process 
• Once the registration is done, candidates will receive their registration number and password on their registered e-mail ID. 

Step 2: Upload the Required Documents 

• In the second step, candidates have to upload the necessary documents including their scanned photo, thumb impression and signature in the specified format.

Step 3: Complete the HTET Application by Paying the Fee

• This is the last step to be completed for submitting the HTET application form. Candidates can pay the application fee using various payment options including debit card, credit card, UPI and others.

NOTE: Once the candidate has successfully made the payment, they are advised to keep the printout of the application form and fee receipt for future use.

HTET Application Form 2026: Points to remember

Here are some important points that candidates should note while filling the application form. 

• The application fee for the HTET is not refundable. Once submitted, candidates cannot ask for their money back.
• Only JPG files should be used for the signature, thumbprint, and photographs.
• The applicant must input his or her information, including name, father's and mother's names, and date of birth as it appears on their secondary school diploma or class 10th certificate.
