UPTET 2026 Admit Card: Expected Date, Steps to Download, Exam Day Guidelines

UPTET Admit Card 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) releases the UPTET admit card on its official website. UPTET is an eligibility test for candidates who want to become teachers in government or government-aided schools in Uttar Pradesh.

The notification for UPTET 2026 has not been released yet. Candidates appearing for the exam must carry the admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam centre for verification. The admit card is usually made available a few days before the exam date. Once released, candidates can download it by logging in with their registration number and password on the official website. The admit cards for Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be released separately.

The UPTET admit card is an essential document which consists of important information about the candidate including the candidate's name, roll number, exam date and details of exam centre. Only those candidates who have successfully filled the UPTET application form will be able to download their admit card. It is mandatory for candidates to carry the UPTET admit card 2024 on the day of the exam. If in case, a candidate forgets to bring the admit card to the exam centre, he/she will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. 

The admit card is usually released a few days before the examination. The exact date for the release of UPTET admit card 2026 is still awaited. 

UPTET Admit Card 2026 - Steps to download

Once the UPTET admit card is released by the education body, candidates can follow the steps outlined below to download the UPTET admit card. 

Step 1: Go to the official website - updeled.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, find the link that reads 'UPTET Admit Card' -- click on that.

Step 3:  Enter your registration ID and password to log in

Step 4: Click on submit 

Step 5: The UPTET admit card will be displayed on the screen

Step 6: Download the admit card for any future requirement 

Note: Once downloaded, candidates must carefully review the details mentioned on the UPTET hall ticket. If in case, candidates find any discrepancy in their hall ticket, then they should immediately contact the Exam Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh, and get the errors rectified. Candidates can contact the exam administration at 0532-2467504 or 0532-2466769. How to Retrieve Password If Candidates Forget UPTET 2026 Details?

In order to retrieve the password, candidates can follow the steps given below: 

Step 1: Go to the official website 

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the UPTET 2026 link 

Step 3: Now, click on the login option

Step 4: Candidates need to select the 'forgot application number' to retrieve their password 

Step 5: Enter the required details and click on the submit button.

Step 6: On the registered email ID or mobile number, candidates will receive the email for creating new password
