UPTET Application Form 2026: Correction Window, Registration, Steps to Apply

UPTET Application Form 2026: The UPESSC has now closed the UPTET 2026 application process on April 26, 2026. The last date to make changes in the form and to submit the application form with a late fee was May 1, 2026. The registration process for Paper 1 and Paper 2 was done separately. The application fee for UPTET 2026 Paper 1 was Rs. 600, and for candidates who applied for both Papers 1 and 2, the fee was Rs. 1200. The UPTET Exam 2026 will be conducted from July 2 to July 4, 2026.

Candidates were advised to thoroughly check the eligibility criteria before registering for the UPTET Exam 2026. The application process consisted of multiple steps, such as registration, filling out the application form and payment of the requisite fees. While filling out the application form, candidates were required to upload the required documents, including their image and signature, in the specified format. 

The UPTET exam is a state-level teaching exam which has two papers - paper 1 and paper 2. While paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach students of the primary level ( 1 to 5 classes ),  level 2 is for candidates who wish to teach students from the upper primary level (6 to 8 classes).  

UPTET Application Form 2026

The UPTET application form 2026 has been released on the official website on March 27, 2026. The registration process ends on April 26, 2026. However, Candidates will be able to make changes in their application form until May 1, 2026. The application process for UPTET consists of several steps from filling out the form to submitting the application fees. 

Only those candidates who have successfully submitted the application form will be eligible to get their UPTET admit card. The registration dates for UPTET 2026 and other details will be included in the official notification released by the conducting body.

UPTET Application Form 2026 - Steps to apply

Candidates will be able to submit their application for the UPTET 2026 exam by following the instructions mentioned below.

Step 1: Fill UPTET application form 

• Go to the official website - updeled.gov.in
• Locate the link that mentions 'UPTET registration 2026' and click on that.
• A new window will appear on the screen.
• Click on the 'Apply here' button.
• Here, fill in the required details such as name, date of birth, etc. 
• Verify the details and click on proceed 
• Candidates have to note down the system-generated registration number

Step 2: UPTET Registration Verification 

Candidates must enter their registration number and the One-Time Password (OTP) in the designated fields for verification.

Step 3:  Fill Remaining Application Form 

Once successfully registered, candidates can fill the rest of the application form.  It must be noted that candidates cannot make any changes in the application form after it has been submitted.

Step 4:  Submission of UPTET Application Fee

Candidates must first log in to their registered account using their credentials to pay the application fee. Once logged in, applicants can use the online payment methods to submit the UPTET application fee.

UPTET Application 2026 - Correction Window 

The candidates will be give the provision to make changes (if any) in the application form. The correction window will be open for a specified time frame. In order to make corrections, candidates can follow the given steps : 

Step 1: Go to the official website 

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the application correction link 

Step 3:  Fill in the login details 

Step 4: Once logged in, candidates can make corrections in their application form 

Step 5: Once the changes are made, click on submit

Step 6: Download the application form and take a printout for future use
