The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai has concluded its final placement season for the 2024-2026 batch, securing 502 offers for 505 students across the MBA, MBA Operations & Supply Chain Management, and MBA Sustainability Management programmes, out of which three students opted out for the entrepreneurial opportunities. For this placement season, the highest domestic offer reached was Rs 71.4 Lakh per annum, while the top 10% students were offered an average of Rs 47.5 Lakh per annum. Over 200 recruiters participated, including recruiters from J.P. Morgan, Amazon, Microsoft, PwC US Advisory, Reliance Industries, Swiggy, and Goldman Sachs.

IIM Mumbai, formerly known as NITIE (National Institute of Industrial Engineering), was re-named to become the 21st IIM of the country on July 12, 2023. IIM Mumbai’s legacy dates back to 1963 when it was established by the Government of India with the support of UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) and ILO (International Labour Organisation). Located in Central Mumbai's Powai, IIM Mumbai has ranked 6th among the top management institutes in the country by NIRF 2025.

IIM Mumbai in parternship with Jaro Education, introduces the Blended Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA-BPGP), a transformative management degree designed for working professionals aspiring to accelerate their careers without taking a break from work.This two-year MBA blends provides live online classes two on-campus sessions, allowing professionals to learn from top faculty while working. The program covers key management subjects like Operations, Marketing, Finance, Data Science, and Sustainability through 1,200+ hours of interactive learning.

IIM Mumbai offers three MBA courses for graduates from all academic backgrounds like Operations Management, Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Project Management, HR, Information Technology, and Sustainability Management. For MBA programme, an applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD) or equivalent CGPA, along with a valid CAT score as a part of its selection criteria.
