NIOS 12th Exam 2023: Check Admit Card (OUT), Pattern, Syllabus, Question Papers & Result

Before registering for the NIOS 12th exam, students must ensure that they satisfy the NIOS eligibility criteria for class 12. As per the NIOS 12th eligibility criteria, the student must have acquired the age of 15 years or above. The student must also have passed the secondary course (class 10) from a recognized board. 

This year, the board is conducting the NIOS 12th exam in offline mode. Students are required to visit their NIOS-authorised examination centres in order to appear for the NIOS exam. NIOS 12th Registration 2023-24

Before beginning with NIOS class 12 registration, students must ensure that they fulfil the NIOS eligibility criteria for the senior secondary (class 12) course.

The NIOS eligibility criteria for appearing in class 12 examination is as follows:

• The student must have acquired 15 years of age or above
• The student must have passed the secondary course from a recognised board

Students can register for the NIOS admission 2023 with the help of the following steps:

• Go to the official website of NIOS
• Click on “register”, read the instructions carefully and then click on the “proceed” button
• Next, select your state and the identity type like Aadhar number, passport, ration card etc.
• Then, enter the number of your selected identity type 
• Next, select the course you want admission into, that is, either secondary or senior secondary course and then click on the “submit” button
• The NIOS 12th registration form 2023 will appear on your screen
• The NIOS class 12 registration form is divided into 4 sections (basic details, optional details, subject selection and study centre selection)
• Enter all the required information in the registration form
• Carefully review the NIOS registration form and make the necessary changes before the final submission
• Lastly, pay the required registration fee by choosing an appropriate payment gateway

NIOS 12th Admit Card 2023

Students can download their NIOS 12th admit card 2023 with the help of the following steps:

• Visit the official NIOS portal (sdmis.nios.ac.in)
• Click on the  link for “NIOS Admit Card 2023 Class 12”
• Next, enter your NIOS 12th enrolment number and the type of hall ticket ( practical hall ticket or theory hall ticket) you want to download
• Then, click on the “Submit” button
• After this, the NIOS 12th admit card 2023 will be displayed on your screen
• You can then download the NIOS 12th admit card 2023 and carry it to the exam centre on all exam days

NIOS 12th Exam Dates 2023

The NIOS 12th practical examinations for the April 2023 session were conducted from March 16, 2023 to March 31, 2023. The upcoming NIOS class 12 theory exams 2023 will be conducted from April 6, 2023 to May 8, 2023. This year, the NIOS 12 examinations are being conducted in offline mode. Students must reach their respective examination centres well in time. Students must also carry their NIOS 12th admit cards 2023 to the examination centre on all exam days without fail. Students must also adhere to all the guidelines mentioned in their admit card on all exam days.

NIOS 12th Exam Pattern 2023

As per the latest NIOS class 12 exam pattern 2023, students must select a minimum of 5 subjects including one language or at most two language subjects. Students can also choose two additional subjects apart from the five core subjects. Thus, students can opt for a third language as an additional subject. Students must choose only those subjects that are relevant to their future career and higher education plans.

Students are required to select their subjects for the NIOS 12th exam 2023 from the following group of subjects:

Students can only opt for one subject each from Group C, D, E and F.

• Next, click on the “Exams & Results” tab and select the “Results” option
• Then, enter your NIOS 12th enrolment number and captcha in the given fields

• Get a printout of your NIOS 12th mark sheet and refer to it as and when required
