HTET Exam 2026: The Board of Secondary Education, Haryana (BSEH) has postponed the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026 examination. The HTET exam 2026 is now likely to be held in the last week of January 2026, although no official confirmation has been released by the exam conducting body regarding the new HTET exam dates. The BSEH will soon announce the new exam dates for the HTET 2026 on its official website -  bseh.org. Earlier the HTET 2026 exam was scheduled to be held on January 17 and 18, 2026. 

HTET 2026 registration process was extended till January 5, 2026. Now the last date to submit the HTET 2026 application form is January 5, 2026 before midnight. Earlier the last date to submit the application form was January 4, 2026. BSEH officially released the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026 appplication form on December 24, 2025 at official website, bseh.org.in. The HTET exam 2026 is tentatively scheduled to be held on January 17 and 18, 2026. Once the registration window closes, the BSEH will open an application correction window for candidates.

HTET Exam 2026

The BSEH has released an official HTET notification containing all the important information related to the exam. HTET level 1 (PRT) exam is for those candidates who are willing to teach students at Elementary level (classes 1 to 5), HTET level 2 (TGT) is for candidates who wish to teach students at Secondary level (classes 6 to 8)  and HTET level 3 (PGT) is for candidates who wish to teach at Senior Secondary level, that is, classes 9 to 12. 

Since the three levels are different from one another, the HTET syllabus laid by the BSEH is also different. Candidates must know that the teacher’s eligibility test is conducted as per the guidelines issued by the National Council for Teacher Education or the Department of School Education in Haryana. HTET Admit Card 2026 

Only those candidates who will successfully register for the HTET exam will be eligible to download the HTET Admit Card 2026. Candidates need to visit the HTET login page to check and download the hall ticket, once issued. It must be noted that the admit card will be released separately for each level. The HTET admit card 2026 will not be sent via post to the candidates.
