AIBE 21 Exam 2026: The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) XXI application form 2026 on the official website today, February 11, 2026. The AIBE 21 registration process will continue till April 30, 2026. Along with the registration dates, BCI has also announced the AIBE XXI exam dates 2026 via the official press release. The AIBE XXI exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on June 7, 2026.

AIBE 21 Eligibility Criteria 2026

As for the AIBE 21 eligibility criteria 2026, candidates must be in their final semester of a 3-year or 5-year LLB programme from a BCI-recognised law college or university to be considered eligible, provided they do not have any pending backlogs, Law graduates (3-year or 5-year LLB) from BCI-approved institutions who have completed their course but have not yet received their degree certificates are also eligible to apply and candidates who have obtained their LLB degree but have not enrolled with any State Bar Council, or those who had enrolled but have surrendered their enrolment certificates, are also eligible to register for AIBE 21.

Before applying for the AIBE examination, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria which need to be fulfilled in order to appear for the exam. Students need to meet the following AIBE 21 eligibility criteria 2026 to appear for the exam: 

• Candidates need to hold a 3-year or 5-year law degree from a law institution that is recognized and approved by the Bar Council of India.

About AIBE 21 Result 2026

The AIBE scorecard only mentions the pass or fail result status of the candidate. The scorecard does not give any percentage/percentile/ranking score. There is no cut-off released. Students need to score at least 40% marks to qualify for the AIBE examination. Candidates who pass the bar examination will be eligible to receive the Certificate of Practice, which is required for law practice in Indian courts.
