What’s New in AIBE 2023: The registration process for AIBE 2023 commenced on August 16th. According to the official announcement, candidates can apply until September 30, 2023. The correction window will be available until October 10, 2023. Candidates can expect the release of the admit card on October 20, 2023, and the All India Bar Examination is scheduled to take place on October 29, 2023.

The AIBE 17 results of candidates who appeared for the exam in Rajkot city have been cancelled due to report of mass usage of unfair means. Candidates who appeared for the exam in all 4 test centres of Rajkot (Gujarat) can re-appear in the AIBE 18 exam without paying any registration fee.  

The second phase of re-checking of AIBE-17 OMR sheets started on June 5, 2023, and closed on June 15, 2023. Candidates can apply for re-checking of their OMR answer sheets by visiting the official website of AIBE. 

AIBE Exam 2023 : The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI) twice a year for candidates seeking to practise the profession of lawyer in Indian courts. The AIBE exam is held across 50 cities in 140 test centres in the form of an open-book test. The AIBE 17 examination 2023 was conducted on February 5, 2023. The application process for AIBE 17 exam started on December 13, 2022, and closed on  January 16, 2023.

The results of the AIBE 17 exam 2023 were declared on April 28, 2023. Students can check their results by entering their registration number and password in the result login window on the AIBE official website. Before applying for the AIBE examination, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria which need to be fulfilled in order to appear for the exam. Students need to meet the following eligibility requirements to appear for the AIBE exam : 

  • Candidates need to hold a 3-year or 5-year law degree from a law institution that is recognized and approved by the Bar Council of India.
  • Candidates need to be enrolled with a State Bar Council as an advocate.

There is no upper age limit and students can appear for the AIBE exam as many times as required to clear the examination.

  • Payment of Application Fee : Students need to click on 'proceed to payment' and pay the application fee to complete the registration process.
