JPSC 2023 Sarkari Result: Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is yet to announce the schedule for the JPSC 2023 combined civil service examination. The latest JPSC recruitment exam was held in the year 2021. After the successful completion of the CCS exam, the commission releases the JPSC results on its website. Candidates who have appeared for the recruitment exam can check their results by going to the official website.
It must be noted that the JPSC CCS exam is divided into three main stages: preliminary examination, written examination, and interview. After the completion of each stage, JPSC releases the selection list on its website. The selection list comprises the roll numbers/ names of the candidates who have qualified for the next stage. It must be noted that only the candidates who clear all three exam stages successively will be considered for service allocation. In case, a candidate fails to clear any of the three exam stages, they will have to reappear for the examination the next year.
For JPSC 2021 combined civil services examination, the prelims result were declared on November 1, 2021. The revised JPSC prelims result 2021 was declared on February 17, 2022. The results for mains (written examination) were out on May 2, 2022. Candidates who cleared the JPSC mains 2021 appeared for the interview between May 9, 2022 and May 16, 2022. The final JPSC 2021 results were announced on May 31, 2022 on the official website.
JPSC 2023 Sarkari Result
JPSC releases a separate selection list after the completion of each exam stage which has been explained below:
JPSC Result: For Preliminary Examination
After the preliminary examination, a category-wise selection list is released by JPSC. This list comprises the roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified for the next stage, that is, the written examination.
It must be noted that the selection will also include the total number of candidates that have been selected from the various categories.
JPSC Result: For Mains (Written Examination)
Candidates who clear the preliminary examination then appear for the written examination. The written examination consists of 6 compulsory papers that the candidates have to appear for.
A few weeks after the completion of the written examination, a fresh selection list is released. This list comprises the names of the candidates who have qualified for the interview stage.
JPSC Final Result: For Mains (Written + Interview)
Candidates who clear the written test then appear for the personality test/ interview. Upon successful completion of the interview stage, the commission then releases the final JPSC merit list. The final merit list comprises the names of the candidates who have qualified for the service allocation process.
The final merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the written test and interview. However, the marks obtained by the candidate in JPSC Mains Paper-I are not considered while preparing the merit list.
The final merit list will include the following details:
- Candidate’s roll number
- Candidate’s full name
- Candidate’s primary category
- Service allotted to the candidate
- Category under which candidate has been selected

JPSC Result 2023: Preparation of Merit List
As per the latest JPSC CCS notification, only the candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks of 40% in the aggregate will be considered by JPSC while preparing the selection list for JPSC Main (Written Examination) and for preparing the merit list for the purpose of JPSC interview stage.

JPSC Recruitment 2023: Service Allocation Process
Upon successful completion of the JPSC 2023 combined civil service examination, the commission will be allotting services to the eligible candidates. The service allocation will be done by the commission on the basis of the choice of candidates and the final JPSC merit list.
Service allocation will be done as per the procedure laid down under rule 19(i) of The Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Rules, 2021.

JPSC 2023 Cut Off
Candidates must note that the final JPSC cutoff is released along with the final results. The commission will release the final cutoff upon the completion of the JPSC 2023 examination. Since the commission is yet to release the notification for the JPSC CCS 2023 examination, the exam schedule is not known yet.
However, aspiring candidates are advised to go through the previous year's cutoffs for various exam stages. By going through the past year cut offs, candidates, will be able to prepare more strategically for the examination.
